I have been working with Dani for about 2 years and absolutely love her! She has a vast repertoire of music for whatever you are working on. Dani has wonderful techniques to improve your skills and is always encouraging and patient. She is also a beautiful and successful singer herself so she can give you the inside scoop on necessary performance skills and audition pieces best suited for your voice. My 11 year-old son had his first piano lesson with Ms. Dani last weekend and he loved it! She was very enthusiastic, patient and related very well to him. Class Act Music Academy is just beginning it's journey as an organization in Gilroy with teachers who have been teaching private music lessons for over ten years!

Meet the Business Owner: Danielle W.

Class Act Music Academy's main instructor, Danielle Wells, has been teaching students privately for over ten years. Danielle has a passion for making learning music fun, and strives to make sure that music lessons are affordable for all students who wish to learn. Danielle received a Bachelors degree in Music Education which included the studying of singing, string instruments, wind instruments, and leading ensembles. Danielle went on to continue her studies earning a Masters degree in Voice Performance. Throughout Danielle's studies and after she maintained a passion for sharing music with her students, which eventually led to her receiving the prestigious teaching award, "Emerging Teacher of the Year," recognizing Danielle for her "dedication to constructing an environment where students enjoy exploring and expressing themselves musically and developing their artistic talents." Danielle looks forward to working with your student, and growing their musical interests and tale

Lessons are about different aspects of your playing that you need to work on, and are always enjoyable. You'll learn rudiments, counting, songs, and notation so you can sight read. The best part is that after a while, you should be able to hear a song and dissect the drum parts all on your own. Also, finding a passion for drumming through these lessons over the years has taught me so much more than just drumming. Like being patient, confident, and striving to be better. When I was 14 (now 20), I didn't necessarily have these insights. I am very grateful for being exposed to these types of important values at that stage in my life. Highly recommend taking lessons!

If clarity was needed by phone Alexis was always available during business hours when at the store. My 4 trees removal was quoted to take 2 whole days but was completed early. Alexis and his work crew were fantastic all the way through. They arrived as scheduled and earlier than on time each day. The crew showed exceptional teamwork and were very easy to communicate with. They were respectful of the property and left the yard looking better in the areas they worked than when they first started. I will definitely seek out Alexis and his work crew again when I have future tree care and landscaping needs.

What a breath of fresh air! I introduced my little brother to Danielle almost a year ago for voice lessons. He's been wanting to audition for school musicals for the past couple years but was worried that his vocal skills were not up to par. After the first free lesson with Danielle at Class Act Music, I could see a sudden surge in his confidence, which very quickly grew into a strong and beautiful voice. He has been cast in 2 different shows over the past year and he's now looking into singing/acting as a potential career. Danielle not only understands music, but more importantly she knows how to engage her students and keep them focused while having fun in the process.
