My…read moreoldest daughter had gone to Lindsey for voice lessons and had a very positive experience, so she recommend that I contact Jesse to see if he had any guitar openings for my son. Luckily, there was a spot. From the beginning, Jesse has been a supportive, skilled, and experienced teacher. Jesse provides a balance between book instruction and popular music choices. It is evident that he truly enjoys what he does. To be honest, I did not expect my son would still be interested in playing guitar 2 1/2 years later. I thought it would be the typical situation where a child asks to play, then gets bored and quits. On the contrary - my son looks forward to his weekly lessons and has never wanted to quit. I know the big reason he has continued is because of the rapport he has with Jesse, as well as the enjoyment he gets when learning and playing new songs. I've enjoyed watching and hearing the progress! I am also very thankful that Jesse was able to successfully provide lessons via Zoom ever since our county went into "shelter in place" mode.!

We've only been working with Trudy a few months, but we really enjoy her so far. She's so willing…read moreto work with you on songs, even ones she doesn't personally know. So we know she's doing her homework! She's kind and fun and knowledgeable. She's working with my 11 year old daughter and I can see a marked difference in her singing just in this short time. She sang in her school choir for two years, but never developed the confidence it takes to sing loudly be herself. This week she's auditioning for a solo in her schools Christmas concert so I challenged her to keep up with my voice. I'm not a great singer, but I have power. She did it while smiling! I'm grateful to have found someone local. Once COVID is calmed, I can't wait to do in person lessons! I know it'll build my daughter up even more!

The teachers are amazing, always extending more help when a child needs help. The studio is clean and well maintained. There is 3 rooms. One open studio room for guitar, one closed large room for dancers and one small close room for violin on Saturday. The waiting room has great seating with a tv to watch the dance room. My only concern is how the music performers were supposed to have a recital but it was cancelled last minute. The Folklorico group had a recital, which was well advertised. It was interesting that they couldn't combine the two. I had relatives coming in from out of town. I tried many times to contact the studio. I got one response with they will in form us soon. Then last minute they told us it was cancelled. Another downside is parking. I do like the fact they send a newsletter every month. I just hope the winter recital will be on the day they are saying December 15th the same day as the folkloric dancers.
