After her examine she suggested I go to the ER again, which I again refused, she would not let me leave until I said I would got to the hospital. Once at the hospital I failed the stress test and after a catheter and 2 stents I found out my artery was 95% blocked. According to the cardiologist if I would have finished cutting the grass I would have had a deadly heart attack. So, thank you NP Liza Raymond.

He had an upper GI at McLaren in Pontiac a few weeks later with Dr. Robert Ferguson and has not yet spoken with the doctor? Approximately $10,000 later... he has told the doctor's office that if they needed to go over any of the results or if they had bad news to call him. There was a scheduled video call at 6:45PM tonight and.....not really helping in a situation where he already doesn't trust the hospital system here!!!! Shameful!

I received 2 bills, one from the dermatologists…read moreoffice for $140 and one from a lab about 5 months later for $440. $580 to get an "irritated mole" removed. The provider that saw me barely spent 5 minutes with me, looked at my mole and immediately said she didn't know what it was and had to remove it and send it to a lab for biopsy. My mom warned me this provider may jump to biopsy as they wanted to do a biopsy of a mole of hers (which another derm said was unneeded) but I was worried about skin cancer so I wanted to ease my mind. I would have NEVER done it knowing it would cost me almost $600. For an "irritated mole"!!! I guess it's my fault for not inquiring about the cost, but I had no idea I would be receiving 2 hefty bills in the mail (1 from the derm, 1 from the lab). Apparently this is in the new patient paperwork they make you sign, but I don't remember reading it. So I am going to call tomorrow to figure out exactly what it says, but needless to say I will not be returning to this dermatologist office ever again.

My first appointment was to for her to look at an annoying mole on my scalp...which she froze off that day in office, then sent it out for lab. How easy was that!?? My second appointment was two years later. I seriously felt like my finger was two hand washes away from falling off. Bleeding, cracking, and a little bit of tears -I'd had enough. I have no reason to ever go to another hospital for help. I am always treated with respect and patience, no matter how horrible or emotional I feel. The nursing staff is really very good, as are the doctors. The rooms are all private which is a big plus for me. Housekeeping is there everyday to not only keep things clean, but to see if anything is needed from them. The staff is required to come to your room every hour to check on you, even when you haven't asked for anything. On top of all this, there is manager on each floor that is visits everyday. They work really hard to ensure their patients are comfortable and have everything they need. And there are a few things on their food menu that are actually very good ... Omlettes made to order for breakfast and yummy potroast. In addition to the pneumonias, I also had stomach cancer and lost my entire stomach and a few other organs I would have preferred keeping. After all I have been through, having a hospital like has meant so much to me. I can't change the sickness, but at least I know I can go somewhere to be taken care if so wonderfully.
