Honestly, all of it and she thanked me for my feedback and it continued to be a great experience. We were very pleasantly surprised at the service and professionalism of the staff at Meijer's Optical. My wife didn't realize that it was the doctor himself who was checking her in. We both had full eye exams and both ordered new glasses. The exams were very thorough and professional; the dispensing staff was very helpful and the selection of lenses and frames was excellent. We were able to get appointments within a few days of calling and our glasses will be ready within 2 weeks. You can also get insurance on your glasses against breakage and scratches on the lenses. We were very pleased with the service at Meijer Optical.

Dr Keener came to the phone, Listened to my situation and showed my family compassion in our time of need. They stayed late to care for my father. They did this with smiles on their face. I had great hopes for this Eye Care practice but have been very disappointed. My first visit more…read morethan a year ago went well enough.... So this year I brought my wife. This year has been a nightmare. I was assigned an appointment with Dr Hammond for glasses and contact lenses. During the exam, I asked for a glasses prescription for normal progressive lenses, and also a glasses prescription for 'computer' glasses which are simply progressives optimized for 36 inch viewing distance. I've had other eye care providers accommodate that request without hesitation. But not Dr Hammond. She flatly stated "No, I don't do that." Confused, I tried to clarify, at which point she became visibly agitated and curt. She said that "isn't how she works" and that the lab making the glasses could just adjust my prescription to make me computer classes. Wow. Never had an eye doctor express any concern with that request, and in fact a doctor at one of the chain eyecare places is the one who suggested it initially years ago. Then came the contacts. Here I asked for three lenses. Basically a far/near split contacts prescription and a third lens prescription for my right eye so I could swap out the near vision contact and wear far/far contacts in certain situations. She agreed, and wrote two prescriptions, but the office is refusing to provide a signed copy of the second prescription. Keep in mind this is a service I PAID FOR... so it's not like I'm asking for a favor. As an over 50 diabetic, I have special concerns regarding eyecare. Had high hopes for Comprehensive Eyecare of Central Ohio, but am beyond frustrated, moving toward disgust. So now my only recourse is to warn others via reviews on as many platforms as possible. TLDR: Go somewhere, anywhere, else!!! You'll avoid paying good money for curt attitudes and broken promises.

And, one day I was around Grove city looking for a Panera bread shop, so suddenly, it's the Eyemart Express I saw near. Then , I stopped by there and, the sale advisor, listened to me carefully and , she said that I have a full warranty and she's going to order new ones for me. I was glad. Finally, they made it and they shipped after they told me that the glasses were ready to be picked. But, I was busy in Chicago when I received the message. And I tried to reach out them and asked them to ship it for at my address in Columbus. After 24 hours, they made it. Eyemart Express is wonderful. They are delivering more than a service, they are angels. Thank you.

The Rx was provided 6 months earlier. I was told to come back in 6 months so my insurance would cover the frame cost. Ask if they could repair the worn-flaws to my current pairs, that I bought there, . . . "You bought those in 2023 and the warranty is expired." Thanks for selling me glasses and frames that last 2 years. Asked of they could arrange the repair of my Oakley sunglasses I bought there? . . . "We don't deal with Oakleys anymore so 'No'". When I pointed to the sign in the store that identified "Oakleys" as a product provider the rep said, "That's not for Oakley sunglasses, sorry." Terrible products; worse service. Never going back.

Towards the back of the building is a mini record store and that's where they hooked me! My record collection is largely oldies thanks to my grandmother. What should have been a simple prescription lens change for sunglasses turned into a six-week…read moreordeal involving multiple errors and unacceptable customer service. We brought in our own eyeglass frames with an existing pair of sunglasses that had dark black lenses, requesting only a prescription update. On the first pickup, the lenses were the wrong color (brown), while the original dark black lenses were still in the package. Management acknowledged the error and said the order would be corrected within two weeks. On the second visit, the replacement lenses were again incorrect--this time light gray, still not matching the original dark black lenses. At this point, after three store visits and weeks of delay, my wife requested cancellation and a refund, including crediting the insurance portion, so we could take the prescription, original frames, and original lenses elsewhere. She needs these prescription sunglasses for an upcoming trip. The situation worsened when the assistant manager was dismissive and unhelpful, stating she could not release the frames and original lenses or immediately credit the insurance portion. The tone and handling of this interaction were insulting and unprofessional, especially given that the repeated errors were not ours. We have since filed a complaint with America's Best corporate headquarters. The corporate representative has been professional and is working with the store manager to resolve and monitor the situation. We are hopeful this will finally lead to a resolution, but this experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming for what should have been a simple straightforward service.
