Also, my last doctor, not at this location, said I wasnt a great candidate for contacts. However, this doctor actually did the exam and gave me some great alternatives in contacts. Loved that he had suggestions and listened to my wants while also giving his professional opinion. I ws in and out of the place. Dr. Was masked and gloved when doing my exam!!!! Cons: there was an older white woman working at the front who came from behind the counter to watch a Black couple look at glasses. She was literally staring at them. The other person at the desk had to call her to help another customer who was trying to get her attention. The couple did not steal. Overall though, the experience was really pleasant I would come back!

Tried on several pairs that either I liked, my daughter didn't or vice versa. The salesperson assisting me suggested the pair I ultimately purchased. She was patient and explained why this pair suited my face shape and size. She asked if I belonged to various groups and I was able to take advantage of an unadvertised discount. They were still pricey though! Glasses arrived and they look and fit great. I get lots of compliments on them. Customer service during and after the sale has been excellent. I've gone by another time since receiving my glasses. Don't "overlook" Visionworks when looking for eyewear.

I was greeted promptly and they used state of the art equipment to administer various tests, which were thorough and the technician explained each test in easy to understand terms. Dr Nick was awesome and honest. I had been told i would need surgery for cataracts soon, but he assured me I do not and they are currently working on my new lenses, which he assured me will be a great improvement over what i was using. The staff is also very friendly and kind in addition to being professional. The annual eye exam requires dilation of the eyes, which takes a little time, and then come all the measurements. Every single staff member I encountered was kind, and efficient. I look forward to laughing with them every year. This is a great run practice and I recommend it highly. They also run the eye glass/vision shop in St. Clair Hospital. The vision shop is a hoot! They have so many frames to choose from , are extremely helpful in telling you which ones compliment you and which ones don't (which I really appreciate). You can also just take your glasses in for a refit if something is wrong. I recommend Dr. Davidson and the optical shop highly!
