Went to get gas and the card reader was not working properly. My mom goes inside to ask if she can…read morejust pay for it inside and the kid working was a smart aleck and was of no help. His reply was I can reset it. So he reset it and the card reader was still not working correctly. I went inside this time and then he said that I could pay for the gas inside. I told him that my mom had asked him to do that when she came in the first time. He got smart again and told me that I could buy gas somewhere else then. I pointed at him and told him that is what I'll do and to reset the reader so she wasn't charged. Good thing I don't live in Ashland, but you can be sure that I'll tell every one I know that does about this experience.

I had difficulty getting in and out do to layout and the size of the parking lot. Time of day may played some part to it too. Today was a quick stop on my way to my brother's house. I have been using this Louisa Road location in Catlettsburg for 10+ years. It has a little wear, especially the rest rooms but it serves its purpose. The typical Speedway connivence store that is great for fuel, snacks, cold beverages, and coffee. There is also a working air compressor at this location if you need air for your tires. Good location for a quick run for beer, lottery, and smokes too.
