Truly, Loftus Auto Clinic is a shinning diamond among all possible repair garages. An acquaintance…read morerecommended them when we were experiencing issues with one of our older cars, so we brought it in on their word. Turns out that the alternator had run it's course. The owner of the garage gave me 2 choices: they could put in a new alternator or, since the car was old and we were just using it until we purchased another vehicle, he suggested leaving it over night and he would rebuild the present alternator and put it back in the car. I took the second option, and that held us for another few months until we bough another car. Another example: we brought our truck over to Canadian Tire to get the inspection done. That garage recommended we change quite a few things before it passed inspection, and the estimated cost was roughly $1,200. We brought it to Loftus: they looked at the estimate, looked over the truck and agreed that many of the things needed to be changed. However, once it was all said and done, the total cost for the service was $360 (and they bill by half-hour in terms of labour!). Since then, the truck has been running like a dream. The people who work here are all incredibly helpful and, more importantly, honest. They truly are exceptional at pleasing their customers and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs their car fixed. PS: They also offer a towing service with the same excellent commitment to customer service.

Spoke with Marc at Loftus and he was adamant that it was done and I could tell based on the oil filter. It would be a FRAM oil filter he said. So I took it to the dealer and had them check it and there words were the "oil is black as molasses and it still has the original Toyota filter from the previous oil change." They kept a sample of the oil for me as there was no question in their minds that the oil change was not done. Stay away they can't be trusted.

That's a fair and reasonable price and the distance was about 5 minutes away. This evening, I needed a tow again (third time's a charm, they say!) and when I called, the dispatcher said it would be $90.00 as "two people need to handle the bike". This wasn't the case at all; I handled the bike while the tow driver strapped it. I rode the bike up the ramp and down; it didn't need handling as I had enough juice left to get it up and back down without assistance. My battery was running very low so I called them before I was completely dead. Dispatcher said he would send a driver out in 20 minutes. I called back after almost 40 minutes to see what was happening. Almost 40 minutes later and driver arrives. Not his fault; it's the DISPATCHER giving under-times when he should have just been upfront; I would have waited anyway. The driver? AWESOME GUY! He towed me before; super guy and friendly; he knows what he's doing! No complaints about him AT ALL! The dispatcher, though? A $30.00 jump to $90.00 for a 5 minute tow where my bike wasn't handled by anyone but me? Really? Clearly, they make rates up as they go. There's zero doubt about this! The last times I got towed where it WAS a two man job... and it was $60.00. This time it was $90.00 ($103.50 in total) and I drove it up and back down myself. Ridiculous pricing I later called Moncton Towing and asked what their rate would have been (without mentioning it would not have needed to be handled by two people) and they quoted me a TOTAL of $70.00. I know who I'll be calling if I need tow service again ... and it certainly won't be Dynamic Towing; there's nothing "Dynamic" about their rates.

We stopped at the border to take a look. There was something not right about the rear driver's tire spring, it was hanging down and her tire was very close to the top of the wheel well. We called ahead to Speedy in Moncton on Mountain Rd. They were able to squeeze us in (this was late Friday afternoon). We drove very cautiously and anxiously to their location. They got her car in right away. They inspected the vehicle and brought us in to show us the problem. They were able to replace the broken (rusted out) lower controller arm. They inspected the passenger side and told us that would could most likely make it back to ON with it as it was. After we took a look at it, we asked them if they would replace it as well as it appeared to us to be pretty rusted out also. It should be noted that they DID NOT upsell us for the second controller arm. For safety concerns, we asked them to replace it. They completed both replacements efficiently. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of the repair and left feeling much reassured that we could continue on our way safely. Bob, Mike and Kim treated us very kindly. We greatly appreciated their professionalism. Kim even suggested where we could stop to have the tires re-torqued (Woodstock). This mama was so relieved that her duckling arrived safe and sound to her destination. I offer my deepest gratitude to Bob and his staff. I definitely recommend the quality of service from Speedy Auto Service at 905 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB.
