The…read moreproject included adding a bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, encapsulated the crawlspace, updating a staircase, adding a set of brick steps to an existing porch, replacing the front door and remodeling the kitchen and dining room. From start to finish the crews were professional, polite, on time, diligent and very detailed in their work. Before any electrical or plumbing work began they met with us to verify if changes were needed to the plans. They asked questions and gave excellent suggestions on parts of the project that were not defined clearly by the plans. I would like to mention a few items that are key to a building contractor in my view. First, the quality of all the work performed for us is excellent. Secondly, Shane's original estimate for completion was 5 months. The project took 7 months, but this was not on him or his team. During the 7 months of the project, there were only 2 days when all of the crews were pulled off for another job. Things happen when a remodel occurs that cannot be foreseen. When these items came up we were quickly notified for a decision and given an idea of the cost. Lastly, the final project cost overage was less than 8% of the estimate. A large portion of this was the counter-tops we choose. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of the project. Half completed roof cleaning job. Contractor will not return to finish his work. Do not use this…read morecompany. Details below I contacted and was quoted $500 flat rate for a roof cleaning. Duraseal roofing contacted me on August 21 and arranged service on August 27. Clayton Shockley, the owner showed up and cleaned half of the roof and did not finish because of equipment issues. He installed three roof boots for an additional agreed up $150. He asked for half his money $325 which I gave him after assuring me he would get a new sprayer and be back Friday the 28th to finish the job. He again showed up and sprayed one coat on the half of the roof and suggested the rain should clean more of it off and if algae mot removed he would come back and do it again. I paid him another $325. He inspected the roof on Friday the 4 of September. After seeing remaining stain he scheduled to return on Saturday the 5th of September. After the appointed time of 1000am came and went and no Clayton, I texted him and got the fill reply "Sorry, I can't today. I meant to call you, but I will be there Monday." This is Monday the 7th. 900 has come and gone and no Clayton. I again texted him asking his ETA and no reply. I am attaching pictures that speak volumes. Do not use this person or this company. They do not deliver service.
