Even though they sign a contract to honor your insurance rates, they still expect payment for this undisclosed upcharge to be paid by the patient. When questioned I was informed it was a courtesy to me to even file my insurance claim (that they are contracted with). I was also told it was my responsibility to find out if this upgraded material was covered, that I did not even know about. If this is making your head spin reading this, imagine being the client. In summary- do not rely on their contract with your insurance company to hold water. Do not recommend, which is unfortunate as Dr Carter is wonderful. Staff is who is lacking.

They used laughing gas and a movie to help the little ones stay still and calm. They also took time to talk directly to my son about his habits and help him be informed instead of just me. He took it really seriously and on his own stopped eating an Apple right before bed (after brushing teeth) and changed his routine based on what he planned with Dr. Jason and he's just 4.5! I saw a review about billing being poor but I have always had great experiences with them!
