You can find lots of fresh organic veggies here, meats free of steroid, hormones and antibiotics, great stuff. You can pick up a few bakery goodies walking around and have some dropped coffees or specialty drinks, boba milk tea, Kombucha. Lemonade, tea etc...There is a live music there too, quite good. Pay a visit if you are in town.

I was recently in Missoula visiting family in my hometown. When we lived there, it was always a stop we had to make every Saturday-the market. We came seeking huckleberry croissants and we were very pleasantly surprised to find them again along with many of our other favorites- cheese, fresh veggies and huckleberries sold by the bag. The atmosphere at this market in particular has set the tone for any others I ever attend. While there are some amazing markets our there, this one will always be my personal favorite. We tried something new this year- pie on sticks. It was super delicious and fun to eat with the sweetness of the berry center and the perfectly gold crust. I highly recommend that anyone in the area stops by this market on Saturdays.

We had a great time at this farmers market , vendors have lots of good food and other items. We got some purple potatoes and bread. Fun place to be at on a Saturday, weather was fantastic!

Loving my Huckleberry sensation! Worth every penny.

Visit every time I am in Montana and huckleberries are my favorite! Great vendors, buy local and nothing better than supporting an amazing community!

I visited the farmer's market two years ago while on vacation, and couldn't wait to come back! I moved up here for good in late September, 2016 and went to the market my first Saturday here. The variety is unbelievable! Fruits, vegetables, fresh flowers, jerky, food to eat while you're there--pizza, pastries etc; crafts, homemade lotions, soaps, leather goods, and tons more! Also, the buskers are quite good and varied. Musicians, jugglers, and a Dream Poet for Hire that will type (on an actual typewriter!) a poem for you! He wrote a lovely poem for my daughter. This place is a blast and a great way to spend a Saturday!

One of the best farmers' markets I've ever been to - so many fresh veggies - including morel mushrooms and cherries - what a treat.

All local as vendors must be residents of Ravalli County and demonstrate a 50% value added to what…read morethey sell. No kits or commercial stuff allowed. Come on Saturdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Eat, buy produce, enjoy the live music and shop the unique, mostly all hand crafted arts and crafts. Pottery, silver and other material jewelry, paintings, shirts and other silk screened clothing, photography, honey, and other items, like dog collars and pulls! Produce is generally pulled out of the ground or picked in the hours immediately prior to the market opening. Most is organic. There are plants, flowers, fresh bread, BBQ, pies and pastries, a variety of burritos, hot dogs and burgers along with coffee and juices. An excellent mix of produce, food, arts and crafts every Saturday from May through mid-October in front of the old court house on Bedford Street. Over the 10 years of its existence, this friendly group of neighbors has become a local "happening" and is a high point for visitors to the Bitterroot Valley. The major event of the year is Apple Day, generally the first weekend of October, sponsored by the Ravalli County Historical Society and Museum. The area used to be a huge apple producer, so this event celebrates the allowing any vendor to come, and they do. Last year there were over 160 vendors compared with the 60 - 80 vendors during the regular season. People come from all over and it is quite an event. But due to sanitarian rules and the presence of fresh foods, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED, carried, loose or on leashes. It is a city ordinance, so please leave your pooch in the car or at home.
