The care at Englewood Chiropractic has been great -- the chiropractor is skilled and professional. But unfortunately, the billing experience has been incredibly disappointing. After months of regular visits, I found out certain services weren't covered by my insurance -- something no one ever told me upfront. I only found out because the billing person casually mentioned it one day. There was no heads-up that I'd be back-billed for past visits, which came as a complete surprise. Even after I asked to stick with adjustments only, I was still charged for those uncovered services -- and when I questioned it, I was told to "call your insurance and maybe they'll reimburse you." That's not the kind of response you expect from a professional healthcare office. I really wanted to keep coming here, but the lack of transparency around billing makes it hard to trust the process. I'm typically stingy with the stars but Dr. Clark and his staff are exceptional. My husband and I relocated from AZ 3 years ago and one of the biggest challenges...replacing your doctors. General practitioners, chiropractors, dentists, optometrists, etc. Trusting someone one new and having the patience to try multiple times until you find the best fit for you. I hadn't visited a chiropractor in OH until a recent aggravation to my neck just wouldn't let up and I relented. Dr. Clark was my first stop. After several realignments my neck is pain free. Just recently I brought my elderly mom there for treatment. I was disappointed because they sold their services in which were average to her with personality. I confirmed and reconfirmed that her insurance would cover her treatments. The receptionist Mary was helpful and promised me that she would make sure her that the insurance was appropriate. Now I'm home California, and they not only charged my mom as she was leaving, they were rude about it. Please do not go here! They TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIOR CITIZENS! read more
