This was my first time doing this type of meditative practice, so I decided to do 60 minutes in the floating pod. I enjoyed it very much. Everything was clean and welcoming. I was expecting a more modern design like in typical spas, but this was more bohemian. The woman working was amazing, nonjudgemental of my questions, and explained everything so well. There were a few things I hadn't anticipated, and it's always nice to know what you're getting into. 1. It is a no-shoes environment. 2. You can't not float in the water because of the salt content. 3. You can play your own music while you float, so make a playlist you won't want to get out and skip through. 4. The lid closes either half or all the way. If you leave it a crack open it will slam shut. It is absolutely worth a try. A completely new and different experience that I couldn't have imagined until I tried it. read more

Amazing atmosphere! Amazing experience! Amazing place! The atmosphere itself was very relaxing. Lighting was great, the entire place smelled wonderful. Temperature was perfect. We were 1st time floaters. Thomas was very friendly & informative, explaining everything beforehand & conversed with us afterwards about our thoughts on the experience. Loved the body soap they provide for your shower & the shampoo & conditioner. And for the float, that was the fastest 90 minutes, it was a very relaxing experience. I had a compression fracture in my spine from a fall. The pain was constant. I was taking 10 Advil a day. I read that pro athletes use floating therapy as a healing method and I read that floating decompresses your spine . So I figured I would see if floating helps.
