After waiting roughly 15 minutes past the start time, I was asked to wait an additional 15 minutes for the therapist to arrive. I left, and was later contacted and given an account credit to return. As someone who has received routine therapeutic massages for nearly a decade, I wouldn't recommend Massage Envy if you're looking for relief from chronic issues. My massages were consistently completed below the time frame booked for. Roughly 10-15 minutes earlier than scheduled. I tried a couple different therapist and while both had some pros, I never left feeling fully satisfied by the service received.

When the massage therapist walks in, and after I'm on the table, she says she doesn't do deep pressure- and proceeds to provide a verrry light massage and says she's the therapist matchmaker and that I should go to this other person next time. My next massage was with the person she recommended. The first thing he says to me is he's not sure why I asked for him. I state that he was recommended by a different therapist and he says well they messed up because you should have tried others first. He proceeds to provide the most painful and unnerving massage while continually grumbling that I need to relax. There was very little massage oil used and lot of finger nails into my skin and pulling on dry skin. I never felt comfortable to speak up because of his attitude from the start.
