They literally drop a patient that no longer has insurance. Dropped like a dirty pair of underwear. I understand if i dont have insurance i cant be seen. But I never even received a phone call back to answer a simple question I had. Just a question. That was like the 4th time i had issues getting help from the so called nurses. THEY DO NOT CARE! It is so hard for me to get these people to answer my messages or just answer the phone. Even to get a medication refill I have to leave message after message with no call back or response. As someone with ADHD, calling and following up is hard for me so the fact that I have to practically beg them to do their jobs is hard. I just want them to do the bare minimum which is call me back which they never seem to be able to do. Always out of office apparently. read more

You'd think a mental health facility would have empathic staff who cares about the mental health of the people calling in trying to schedule, but this place only cares about copays. Such a shame. They'll schedule you for "Telehealth" and don't provide instructions. Every single clinic I've ever dealt with calls the patient on the day of appt. This place takes your copay way before you even see anyone. You sit around for 15 min waiting for a call. Nothing! Then, after calling the clinic, the staff emails you a link and the provider ends the session. So for hundreds of dollars on a new patient, you give them 15 min!!??? Greedy. Such a shame read more

My son started counseling at Clarity and my husband and I did not feel the counselor was a good fit for our son. When I called and spoke to them about our concerns they were really understanding and compassionate. He didn't have to be put on a waiting list like most counseling places and they paired him with a new counselor in less the a day. Very happy with our choice of choosing Clarity Clinic. read more

The moment you lose your insurance, they'll drop you. Is it that hard to keep refilling antidepressants when you prescribe high dosage antidepressants with extreme withdrawal effects? I've never heard of a company blacklisting patients once they no longer have health insurance from medication refills that they're dependent on. With anti-depressants, having to stop taking them cold turkey is incredibly dangerous. YOU are lucky I'm still alive because I would've dedicated my suicide note to you. My grades in college (that I spend a LOT of money to take!) plummeted because I was quite literally fighting for my life. Do you just forget about your patients as soon as they lose insurance? Do their lives not matter to you? read more

I contacted Clarity Clinic after a quick Google search & I really didn't know what to expect. I was frustrated after little to no progress with previous Psychiatrists & therapists. I was immediately impressed with the ease of registration & the friendliness of the people I spoke with. I was placed with Dr. Dalal as my psychiatrist & Ashley Earle as my therapist. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Dalal. My previous psychiatrist pretty much just thew a bunch of meds at me like I was a lab rat but Dr. Dalal was very thorough & personable. I'm happy so far with the progress we've made & plan on continued appointments in the future. When I first met Ashley I was honestly a bit concerned as she was young & I didn't know how much experience she had at the time. I was immediately proven wrong as she is awesome! Not only is she very thorough, she is also very professional & compassionate. I have made more progress with her than I did with a previous therapist that had over 30 years under her belt. While I know I still have a long road ahead, I am extremely impressed & grateful for her ability to help me change the way I look at certain issues that have plagued me for a long time. I highly recommend her! I am always greeted with a smile at the front desk when I arrive to check in, everyone I've dealt with up there is great! Worst place to go to!!!! I had a very good insurance on my parents insurance BCBS and I went on Ambetter HMO. So Clarity Clinic didn't accept my insurance. I swear the place could care less about your money! They were trying to have me pay self pay $150.00. without giving me a discount or any discount what so ever! The doctors and therapists are wonderful, there is no denying that, but the problem is with their billing policy. This practice treats mental healthcare like a luxury. Their prices are really high, so if you have an insurance plan with a high deductible, the costs add up quick. My daughter was tested and diagnosed at Clarity Clinic with a condition that requires medication that she desperately needs. Clarity Clinic would not put her on the schedule until her balance was paid in full, even if I established a payment plan. It would take me at least 6 months to pay off the balance owed from the expensive testing, so their solution was to have her come back for medication in 6 months. The child needs medication now! The billing rep I spoke to was very nice and understanding, but she was at the mercy of their billing policy. How can a practice that specializes in mental health be so restrictive? In many cases medication is life saving, and for a bill with a payment agreement to stand between the patient and that medication seems unethical. This is not a med spa or a plastic surgeon where the services are mainly elective and usually not covered by insurance. The owner of this business, or whoever establishes their policies, should really take a hard look at the population they are serving. People already have a hard enough time affording and obtaining healthcare, so why make it so difficult to for patients to get the care they need? I will never return to Clarity Clinic and I will never recommend them, regardless of how great their providers are. Unless you have a substantial budget for monthly, sometimes weekly, appointment fees, steer clear! They will not work with you. Mental health is a huge issue in this country, and this business seems to be in it solely for the money. read more

I will start off by saying I am VERY happy with the services from Dr.Jones. Absolutely no complaints. I'm leaving such a low rating for the way they do their billing. It's advertised at the front desk that self pay for a 1 hour session is $110. Charges are charges, meaning if you have insurance, your insurance will get billed for that same charge of $110, right? Wrong, if you have insurance, Clarity more than DOUBLES your cost per visit, making that $110/hr charge a $250/ hr charge. My insurance was billed $146, then I had to pay $103 out of pocket for a one hour visit. So Clarity got their $250 because we had insurance. Sad to see this happened because I really liked the office, just not the way they snake around with billing your insurance, then want you to pay. Business is business and it's a lesson learned. read more

First off, my daughter loves her therapist, Dr. Catherine Jones. We have no issues with her. She is very understanding and my daughter loves talking to her. My issue is with billing, as others have said. We do the self pay option. My daughter has been at CC for almost 1 year and it is the same issue over and over. I have talked to Michelle in billing and nothing ever really gets resolved as far as what the issue is that they can't get things right. There have been a handful of times that we have been told that we have a balance or that we didn't pay at all. It got to be so frequent that I made it a point to not leave without a receipt in hand. Even then, it wouldn't be a guarantee that there wouldn't be an issue. One time we were charged double for no apparent reason. As I am sitting here now while my daughter is seen, they have us in the system as owing a balance of $140. My daughter was seen 1 week ago and we have a receipt for that visit. There is no reason to have a balance. Their billing is a complete mess. They do resolve the issues but it is only because I have to take the time to call and talk to someone. If my daughter didn't like her therapist so much we would find another place to go. read more
