I'd had a few bad experiences with different bike rental/repair places in Leiden massively overcharging and being very unhelpful, but these guys are a pleasure to deal with and are always up front and reasonable about costs. I've been using Budget Bikes every time I've visited Leiden in the past three years and never had a bad experience.

Also got a warm, crunchy/soft on the inside croissant. The music playing is oddly ominous in contrast to the typical Starbucks Jazz. The ambience is also very unique, having bikes hanging in the window for purchase. The floor to ceiling windows make for a great view along the canal.
