When we drove off the lot we got a low tire pressure alert after about 10 minutes. We returned to the lot and they quickly attempted to put air in the tire and found a leak. They gave us a new car and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Great service!

We rented a car from Dooley for our week long vacation in Ireland. You pay for your car up front…read morewhen you rent, then take your voucher to the desk on arrival to get your car. Our rental cost was $335.36 for the week with one extra driver. Dooley provided a Ford hatchback with an automatic transmission that burned diesel which was available everywhere in Ireland for around $10/gallon. The car had been driven over 112,000 KM but ran ok. Since our AMEX card with USAA provides insurance coverage we declined the insurance offered by Dooley. They charged a 25 Euro ($36.12) processing fee to decline the insurance! This was not disclosed until we rented.... so renter beware about this hidden charge when you compare total cost of renting. Dooley also insisted on placing a 3,000 Euro (about $4,200) hold on our AMEX card in case there was damage. So be prepared to have a chunk of your credit limit tied up while driving their vehicle. The staff was incredibly friendly and getting and returning the car was easy. Just beware of the charges you face if you rent from them. I'd be a 4-star fan if it weren't for the gouge charge they assess to decline insurance!!!

You pay for your due upfront and that was explained to us to bring the car back on empty. We returned it without any problems. I would use them again for sure. The wifi Hub that came with the car did help when we lost signal with sprint. It was worth having.

Awful!! Arrived in Shannon airport at 4;30 after traveling…read moreall day. Was told by Gail at the counter that they did not have our car that had been prepaid. Although they had the right airline and flight number they showed us arriving at 11;30 not 4;30 as scheduled. She said we would have to contact carrental.com and that our car had been locked away for the evening. Gail was went out of her way to be unhelpful. She said they did have a car that would fit all 4 of us but we would need to pay for the extra fees for the elite series rental for the entire week even if we just used it to get to our hotel and exchanged it it at 5am for our car. She said the managers, Mile and Tom couldn't be reached. We will be returning tomorrow to speak with the manager but PLEASE don't rent from this company!!
