Jen, the owner of the GNV Movement Studio, is very nice and is definitely bringing a fresh energy of life to the city. The studio has men and women's locker rooms, along with a wait room/stretch room with a pilates reformer machine. The dance studio is an incredible space, very spacious. The studio offers a variety of classes such as hip hop, ballet, tap, contemporary, and my personal favorite - cardio line dance. The instructors are credible and know their stuff. My mom and I are regulars on Monday night for cardio line dancing with Wanda, who teaches classic line dances like Wobble and Cha cha slide and new line dances that are easy for all levels. It definitely is a great low impact workout but also so much fun. My mom and I always have a great time working up a sweat here. After your class, Jen has these marvelous cold towels that are refreshing to cool you down after your dance class. My personal favorite is the lavender towel.
