This store is conveniently located in the Pavillion shopping centre in the centre of Uxbridge and is just the place for keen DIYers to visit whilst on their lunch break from the office. So they're not specialists like B&Q, Homebase etc but for everyday DIY consumables as well as a wide range of other stuff, the price and convenience is hard to beat. I consider it always worth a look because if they have it, it'll be reasonable enough quality and a great price.

But then I won a £10 gift voucher and thought I might as well have a look at some point. Then I started having a problem with one of my feet and thought that maybe some comfortable old lady shoes were just what I needed, so in we went on Boxing Day. The shop only had a couple of other customers (but it had been much busier earlier, said the assistant), and we were really quickly greeted and asked if we needed help. I wasn't surprised to see lots of old lady shoes but then - there were actually quite a few I liked. Unfortunately of the 3 I wanted to try, they only had one in my size, but they fit well, were comfy, and I think they look pretty nice, too. They do run a bit wide but I have wide feet, so perfectly suitable for me. The shoes I got are a pair of black leather Chelsea boots with a bit of a brogue pattern on them. £85 regular price, £75 in the sale - so actually, for a decent quality leather boot, a really good price. 90 days to return them, too, and clearly if they fell apart even after, they would help out. The service was impeccable. Even my picky husband left with a pair of shoes. So yes, if you're young, or want a pair of shoes to go clubbing in, this isn't the place. But for a quality pair of sensible shoes, have a look. And if you're an old lady? Heaven.

I have brought a pair of earrings and a bag from there about 1 year ago, and they still look new. The shop is small and the design contemporary, and looks like it should be in Milan. The staff are friendly and always on hand. They sell shirts, skirts, coats, and jewellery. People in Uxbridge usually go there to shop for gifts or if they are looking for an item for a special occasion. Everybody in Uxbridge will vouch for how good this shop is. It's on a different level then any other shop in Uxbridge.

It sells jewellery and clothing, and is a wonderful place to shop for unusual gifts for women. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is always something new to see in the store. I think their prices are reasonable, and I have never failed to find a suitable gift there.

This topman store is located in the chimes shopping centre, it's…read morenot a large store but I believe it has taken the best selection of clothing that is available in larger stores. There are actually a lot of clothes in this small store but it does not seem it. Clothes range from jumper to general accessories like wallets and belts. The customer service is good and I was approached with a smile from an employee who happily assisted me with my shopping.
