One of the best salon I have ever been to! The staff here are super friendly and professional! It's a very well designed store, super clean and really nice and big washroom. Once you arrive they put you in a robe so your clothes are protected. They have storage with your own key where you can put around your wrist to store your belongings. They start by washing your hair under a ceiling of stars and a head massage with a super refreshing mint conditioner (Super relaxing!). And they cover you with a blanket so you don't get cold. I think they have thought of everything that a customer could possibly want and more. It's a very thoughtful salon. =) Once you are at the nice leather, comfortable chair, they offer you something to drink (I think you can choose from coffee or water or tea). Then they cut your hair according to your preference with their expert opinions. After the cut, they wash your hair again then a shoulder massage at the chair. Then they style your hair with products. Amanda has been my stylist for 2-3 years now and we've done a lot of different colours and cuts but my hair still looks and feels super healthy. I only trust her with my hair because she is amazing at what she does and she always provides me her honest opinions. Her new salon is beautiful and you can tell a lot of hard work has been put in with customers in mind. The location is very convenient (few mins walk from Bathurst Station). The other stylists are also very friendly and talented. I would definitely recommend CL Salon and Amanda if you're looking to get a new haircut/ colour. Today, I chopped off all my hair and I am so glad I chose CL Salon! I have been struggling to find a great hair salon since moving to Toronto, and I am confident to say I have found it. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted warmly. They took my coat, gave me a nice robe, and offered tea/coffee/water. Anna cut my hair and she was so sweet. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do with my hair, but she helped me decide, kept me informed throughout the whole process, and did a fantastic job. I got my first haircut when i came to Canada at a hair salon called First choice haircutter and they did such a bad job, i went for a straight cut but it ended uneven and paid over $25! So I went on yelp and I'm so glad I came across CL Salon. Truly worth the 5 stars. Price is over my budget but it's totally worth it for the best haircut. Amanda is so sweet and experienced, she used professional techniques. Not everybody can cut my hair as i want but Amanda nailed it. Thank you to the incredibly sweet owner for making this happen! I paid 500$ for just crown of my head and this is what I got, brassy spots all over my hair and yellow tone in money piece. When I told Rachel that you said I can have my hair like the picture I showed during my consultation she said do you have it recorded!! The salon manager got my number to call today and I never received a call from them. Poor customer service and they change their words, be very careful if you do decide to go here and do not pay if it doesn't match what you asked. When I was there Rachel said they have a 2 weeks period that I can go back to fix the color if something bothers me and that turned out to be a lie too. read more

I don't usually do reviews but thought this salon was worth a mention. I wanted to try a new salon and thought I'd give this place a try after seeing their work on Insta. Rachel was my stylist and she did an amazing job! I have thick a$$ Asian hair which can be hard to tame/style; but Rachel was able to give me a great cut that I can easily manage! She thoroughly asked me how I wanted my hair done and deligently did the cut. The hair and shoulder massage was awesome too! The vibe of the salon was relaxing and welcoming. Amanda's amazing with Asian hair and colouring. I did balayage with her and she gave me a beautiful Grey toned ash blond. Also, she's respectful of her clients' time- so many salons over book and take appointments in between colouring, but once you book with her, she stays with you for the entire time. The salon is also very well ventilated, bright and airy. They've got lockers to keep personal belongings and nice service touches such as green tea, blankets to cover your lap while you're getting your hair washed. I'll definitely be coming back! I decided to get a cut and colour at CL Salon at the request of a friend. Sam, the hairdresser I had, was friendly and did an excellent job at making sure I got what I wanted out of the appointment. The atmosphere of the salon was relaxing and pleasant; the decor is on point, and customers are offered their choice of refreshment while waiting for, and during, their appointment. As an icredibly picky person when it comes to hair I have struggled to trust anyone with it, but after seeing the amazing work Sam had done for my friend i thought i would give her a go and i was not dissapointed! I had the worst experience at this salon. My hair color was completely botched- it came out in two different shades. The owner told me to come back to fix it, and unbelievably, they made it even worse. Instead of taking responsibility, they casually suggested I just "put my hair up" until my next visit. To top it all off, they charged me for a blow-dry after ruining my hair! The absolute worst customer service and etiquette I've ever encountered. Stay far away! read more

I was impressed by its tidy and clean indoor decoration and welcoming services from their staffs. I received greetings and big smiles once I entered. Their thoughtful staffs helped me take my coat and offered me hot drinks to get rid of coldness. Their washroom is HUGE!!!! Amazing experience! Had my hair cut by Amanda. She is an amazing stylist and was able to make my hair look healthy again after getting rid of my damaged bleached ends.
