A common recommendation for a place to eat on this largely unsettled island. Really, you don't have much of a choice. That being said, while they don't have much competition, they are doing alright. The kids running the place were training on the go, but I must say they pulled off a more pizza-tasting pizza than a lot of Australian restaurants, comparable in quality to a mediocre American fast food place. The crust was white-bready, but at least is was thick and well-cooked, and the mixed, smoked cheeses atop it flavorful. I wouldn't order the probably packaged fries again.
The place also runs a breakfast cafe. It's walkable from the ferry terminals (which is pretty much guaranteed to be where anyone is going before or after they eat). read more
