The floor job was pretty complex. The previous owners had removed a wall, thrown down some plywood and covered it in carpet. The floor on either side of the plywood was covered in two slightly different ypes of wood and was splattered in paint. Now it looks great! Jesse set proper expectations about when he could complete the work (he's busy!) and provided an estimate. We stayed in contact regularly until he was able to start the project. I was very happy with the finished product and appreciated how they always cleaned up the site at the end of the day. The final bill was exactly what he quoted me. Since my first experience with Jesse was so positive, he was the first person I called when a tree fell on my roof during our last windstorm. Jesse came right over, assessed the situation and quickly determined that the limb went through the roof. With rain in the forecast, Jesse immediately sent a lift truck to my house (I have a 40 ft roof) and sent a crew to repair the roof that day. Under those circumstances, clear and consistent communication was absolutely critical. Several aspects of our experience stood out. First and foremost, the quality of the work was exceptional. The finished product is beautiful, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire house. Second, during the planning phase, Prime Design provided a comprehensive list of decisions we needed to make--from flooring and countertops to every light fixture and faucet. This created a clear roadmap for the project, helped us select items that complemented one another, and documented every choice along the way. As a result, there were no surprises when the project was completed. Finally, because we were still living out of state during much of the construction, regular communication was essential. The wet carpet dried pretty quickly which was a nice bonus. She also cleaned some window treatments that I was afraid to touch and they looked much better when she was done- she also had some great advice on some plastic wraps for the pull cords we could use to keep the dirt off the shades. She was also honest with her advice on some cellular shades that needed cleaning- told me there was a good chance of damaging the shades if she tried getting them wet so she wouldnt take that risk- the shades are 20 yrs old so I'm opting to replace with something more "cleanable". We've hired her to do additional work for us she's not afraid to tackle most home projects- definitely recommending you give her try - a hard worker
