    Delta Sonic Car Wash

I come for a wash a couple of times a year (after winter is a must), and for an interior cleaning…read moreabout once a year. Well, tis the season. This time I started at the gas pump, where I got a discount for purchasing a wash at the same time. (You get a bigger discount if you're an unlimited monthly member, but I don't come often enough to justify that.) I asked the interior cleaning whether I should get the wash first and they told me if I did I'd get a complimentary wax. I literally "ooh-ed," and followed their advice. It was a little busier than I thought it would be on a weekday afternoon, but everything went fast. Other drivers in the car wash line were cooperative in merging. I finished with the interior clean. All of the Delta Sonic staff were very nice. There's a waiting area with some tables inside the convenience store where you can sit while you wait for your car. I grabbed a snack and got to work. Like 20 minutes or so, my car was done. This time I noticed they were a little sloppier than in past times - there was still some pet hair and some crumbs visible in my interior, which is kind of annoying if I'm paying $40. I didn't notice until after I'd already left, probably should check better next time. On the whole though it did look cleaner and I was very happy with the service.

Sonic Delta Car Wash on Erie Blvd in Syracuse is my go-to for a no-fuss, solid wash. They…read moreconsistently leave the car looking sharp, especially when one goes for the optional dry wash. Most of the time, the self-cleaning machines do a great job, though I did notice one time they missed a small spot, nothing major, just a reminder that even the best systems can have an off day. Their monthly subscription program is a nice touch, too. It's not just about clean cars; you get discounted fuel prices and $1 Tim Hortons coffee, which actually makes the whole thing feel like a smart deal.

Do not go here, I repeat do not go here. A young kid (Matt) took a heavy snow brush to my rear…read morewindshield and broke the rear windshield wiper on Sunday, and the metal piece holding the rear windshield wiper too. I immediately saw it happened and got out and the kid pretended he didn't know as I saw him in the mirror look at the ground. I asked them "what do you do in these instances?, I'm sure this happens all of the time." They had no idea, and then another kid finally came out and took down some information. I never received a call from the manager as he stated I would. I went in person Tuesday morning, and the manager looked at it and said to go get a quote at Audi. tried to save me the trip and went to Oreillys and bought a wiper to put on. He noticed that night, that the metal piece holding the rear windshield wiper was broken too. I called Audi and scheduled an appointment for a quote. On Thursday, I got a quote and brought it over in person to the Bear Rd carwash. A young kid met me and said he would put it on the managers desk and interrupted me the whole entire time, as I was trying to tell my side of the story to the technician who worked in the corporate office that was there fixing a machine. The kid told him my windshield wiper just popped off. No, the young kid Matt, took the snow brush to my back windshield and mutilated it. I was told I would receive a call, and no one called. My car has been in the shop for 2 days waiting on the go to fix it. We have been running around all week to get this situation fixed. I have been calling Bear Rd carwash and corporate leaving voicemails all week. They never call you back. You have to work around the managers schedule for them to even be there, and corporate does not work a normal M-F, so you never know when they work. They are refusing to send us the footage and are stating that the ice broke the windshield wiper due to not being able to see it at a 45 degree angle as he took the heavy snow brush to it causing it to break instantly. The manger wanted me to waste more time in my busy schedule as I work for a living to come in and review the footage and to explain why their not going to cover it and waste more of my time. The manger said the kid apparently couldn't see the black windshield wiper on "ice" which was some white snow as I cleared it off before I got there, but the manger could clearly see it on the video that it was at a 45 degree angle, but again the kid did not see it. They are absolutely reckless with brush and do not pay attention to what their doing. Their always on their phones, and caring about anything else than their jobs at hand. They're are completely incompetent, and immature about anything you ask them. Please avoid at all cost. Out 300$ buying new part by trying to wash our car. Rather have a dirty car then to come out with a busted up one.
