I called this morning merely to see when they would be coming out to check out the job and get an estimate. I was extremely nice and said " hi, I'm just following up to see when you will be coming out to give me an estimate for this job " the verbal response I got was that our job is a small job and she will get to it whenever she gets to it that she's currently backlogged with big jobs." I was like " oh, okay, I understand it's a small job I just wanted to follow up since I hadn't heard anything " she proceeds to say to me "I don't think you know who you're talking to, I am the owner and I'm doing the best that I can. My big jobs get priority and I will get to you when I get to you" I said "OK look im not sure why your getting an attitude with me, im sorry your having a bad morning, I'm NOT trying to get priority I'm just trying to get a timeframe that you can let me know. "Her response was look I can't deal with your high expectations maybe you should find somebody else." Is trying to get a timeframe from a contractor high expectations? And I did let her know I did absolutely nothing to deserve this attitude and will be writing a bad review on yelp. How do you run a business like that?

Now our 100 year old, 3 story home required a cosmetic refresh and updated electrical and plumbing services to be performed while we continued to live in our house. Todd's long term employees are skilled, experienced, punctual, helpful, efficient, friendly and did a great job of completing all tasks and unexpected issues that arose. Todd has good relationships and experience with a large variety of competent subcontractor's required to complete this project. Project tasks included: refinish hardwood floors, paint entire house walls(plaster/drywall/wallpaper)/trim/radiators, design/build fireplace mantle/hearth, install new bathroom/kitchen floors and vanities/sinks, carpet 2nd/3rd floors/stairs, drywall/paint ceiling/walls and fix leaks in the garage. We upgraded electric service from knob and tube, performed plumbing maintenance and replaced a leaking soil stack. We love our 'refreshed' home and the electric and plumbing upgrades. Wenger Contracting did an excellent job on this complicated project and highly recommend them. We would hire them again.
