Our family is working with a general contractor, and has been attempting to work with Scalice for now going on almost 3 months. They must be very busy. Good for them - anyone can work with expectations once they are set. We were quoted 6-8 weeks before someone could come out for the survey. We waited. They completed the work and we submitted what we needed to the county for our permit but the county requested more detail as the detail was missing for our pool area. We have now been contacting this company daily to get a confirmation on when they can make the requested update and have been unable to get a response. So now we have already paid them and are at their mercy to have a minimum expectation of customer service. It may take a while and they may deliver on one service but don't expect to be treated as an appreciated customer. You must hope they did everything right the first time because once they are done, there's no full accountability to their customers if clarifications or updates are needed.

Unfortunately, When I had contacted the rental agent about the constant issue with ants everywhere in the house, his response was to "get a can of raid and this is an issue everyone has in the south". Now, I am not stupid, lived in the south most of my adult life, enough to know this is not true. The stress of not being able to live a peaceful life in this residence caused great anxiety. Then in the lease, it states that we can cancel our lease within 30 days with a written notice. unbeknownst to me, I still am required to pay the full amount of the rent even though my husbands job transferred him to another location, and per his contract, we have to live in the town of employment. Nope, don't care. Fork over the money honey because this is how we roll. Never AGAIN! I will never recommend any of their rentals!! And to make matters worse, Rocky Mount has the WORST utilities. This rentals utility bill was over 468.00 a month.. That is insane!

He'd show up at odd times, drop off an older member of his family and leave for hours at a time. One of his workers cut our internet cable and didn't tell us. Erick said he'd call Spectrum - he did not. There was a tendency to offer excuses, not solutions e.g., "They are out of pavers". Lastly, he DEMANDS the freedom to come and go from your home when it suits him. No set dates/times. If you dare to tell him you'd rather he not show up early in the morning to pick up equipment- he loses his cool. So here we are MANY months later, the job's not done and Erick is ghosting me. He got the money and ran! If you want to pay someone tens of thousands of dollars to do as he pleases and not finish your project, Erick is your man. If not, use ANY other landscaper.

He said it would cost him money to come out and take a look and that he didn't do anything for free. Ok, so I asked if there was a service call fee associated with his coming out. Nope. He stated that when he came out he expected to do the work and by just coming out to provide an estimate then it was his word against somebody else's. Time to retire sir. Don't waste your time with this company.
