Our *favorite* place in all of Granada. The culture here is incredible, and we went back over, and…read moreover again. We took afternoon strolls through the Albaicín, and evening walks for delicious schwarma. We spent mornings drinking tea and evenings enjoying hookah with a group. At the top, there is an overlook of the Alhambra that pictures just can not quite capture how truly beautiful and impressive it truly is.

She picks you up,takes you to a wonderful picturesque village.....takes you on a tour which covers grown trees loaded with olives, then a museum and explains the history of olive oil in Spain. Then we had a tasting of 5 oils, 5 different wines, and bread, cheese, and hams all from the nearby villages. If you are going to Granada do this tour......my second most favorite thing was visiting the Alhambra.

We walked across the Puente Romano to visit the tower and museum inside. While the Roman bridge…read morewas the oldest from the 1st century BC, the tower was built in the 1300s to defend it and the city. The museum inside was intended to show life and culture of Al-Andalus time period. Admission included an audio guide that would start automatically when nearby the marked exhibits. However, the quality and caliber of these exhibits were dated and didn't keep us engaged through all of the 8 rooms. The best feature of the tower was the views from the top looking back across the bridge to the Mezquita and the rest of Cordoba. We got lucky as it was the only sunny day when we climbed up so views were quite nice and clear. Overall save your Euros and just visit the Torre from the outside. If you want an elevated view of Cordoba then the climb up the tower in the Mezquita would be a pricier but likelier better alternative.
