DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. It is a complete scam…read more Our experience was terrible from start to finish. They lied about the hourly charges, and once moving day arrived, they suddenly changed the pricing for extra hours despite the fact that I had called beforehand to confirm all details. Not once did they mention needing a parking permit, yet when their truck received a ticket, they made us pay for it. On top of that, they broke our TV during the move. The so-called "insurance" they offer does not cover your belongings, which they conveniently disclosed only after the damage was done. Their team took no responsibility, showed no care, and provided no support. If I can give you one piece of advice for your move: do NOT use this company. They lure you in with a cheap, clickbait price, then shift the costs once you are already locked in and unable to fight back. They mishandled our belongings, broke items, refused accountability, and blindsided us with charges that were never disclosed. Save yourself the stress and choose literally any other moving service.

The move has never been easy to say the least and I always have trouble moving my stuff and usually end up packing minimally because of these headaches. I have also had a number of negative things happen to me with other companies. When I was moving to London a colleague actually sent me their information and told me to give them an opportunity. While I was skeptical given my earlier experiences I decided to try this company out. I was beyond impressed I just had to write a review. Their customer service was phenomenal and they were professional and very fast. Definitely book them for your moving needs!

I was able to get a quote after a member of staff called to assess the situation. I own some bulky furniture that was heavy and expensive, it needed some careful handling. It was a bonus as the company provided the packing supplies and did all the packing, as well as the loading and delivery. The move was scheduled for two days. It did not take long for us to reach our destination. All worked beautifully. Whatever I paid for the service was worth it.

Range Relocations were unclear about their services and charges, and when I raised a reasonable…read morequery I was met with multiple unprofessional emails. Because of the unclear charges (their terms contradict what they will ask you to agree to in an email quote), I remained respectful and asked for my deposit to be refunded (which I paid only the day before) but was told to "go to court KAREN". I took their advice, and the court ruled in my favour in November. This could have been avoided by Range Relocations communicating more clearly about their VAT charges and, when a customer raises a reasonable query, Range Relocations could engage respectfully and issue refunds when there is a reasonable and fair reason. I was out of pocket and had to rearrange a move at short notice, as well as having to deal with the small claims court. I would recommend avoiding Range Relocations or, if you have to use them, spend time carefully comparing what they ask you to agree to (by phone and email) with their terms and conditions. If you happen to misread or misunderstand anything, be prepared for poor customer service and for Range Relocations to take every opportunity to retain any payments you have made.

I have been using them for over 5 years and I do not have a bad word to say about them. They provide me with 24 Hours Secure (personal pin) Access to my storage unit. I have a 40 to 60 sq ft (approx. 4 to 6m) unit and it costs me around £130 a month. I confess I have no idea how competitive this is but as I said I have no complaints about the service. I cannot bring myself to give them five stars as after all this is a storage facility. Maybe if they were a little cheaper I would give them five stars (hint hint...) what is bribery illegal now...(oh it is?)....

Avoid Shurgard at All Costs - NOT SAFE AT ALL & Terrible Customer Service!…read more The facility is completely unsafe--the gate is broken, and the main front door is always kept open for "convenience," meaning anyone can walk in and out without a code. The storage unit doors are flimsy, and security is practically non-existent. The lift didn't work properly, and I got stuck twice due to a door malfunction. At one point, the PIN access system also failed, making it even more unreliable. The worst part was their aggressive and unprofessional customer service. When I politely tried to express my problem, they shouted at me over the phone instead of addressing my concerns. To make matters worse, they misled me about the move-out policy. I was told I only needed to give 2 weeks' notice, but when I did, they issued an invoice on the same day and forced me to pay for an extra month--meaning I ended up paying for 45 days I didn't even use. BE AWARE! Don't trust the auto-generated 5* reviews--see for yourself before signing up. I would never recommend this place and this company to anyone.
