My storage unit at Urban Locker Islington flooded and damaged over £1,000 worth of my belongings.
From the start, the experience was frustrating. I was given different explanations about what caused the flood, and no one took clear responsibility. Communication was poor and often dismissive.
I tried to be reasonable and only claimed £800 of the damage. Their insurance company offered £150, then deducted a £50 admin fee, leaving a payout that did not come close to covering the loss.
Instead of fixing the issue, I felt pressured to accept an unfair outcome and asked to remove negative feedback rather than being properly compensated.
