I am a current tenant of Cityred and been having issues with the staff and owner for some time. Am I a genuine tenant and will verify these this to Google. I know these guys get reviews removed to Stop there bad service being spread to others. They attended my property without my permission and started looking through my personal things. The owner also came with staff. **He is a Doctor and was extremely aggressive and intimidating. He wouldn't let me speak.** The office said sorry, I went to *citizens advice. They told me to report this to the *Property Ombudsman. I have now done this. Avoid city red if you can is my advice to all. read more

So. I'm getting on a bit. And fancying myself on the property ladder. Well, kind of. As in, I'm going to rent somewhere. Bye bye mum and dad. Maybe. And here's where City Red come in. I searched 'flats in leeds' on our favourite search engine and they were the first to come up. Their website was nice on the eye and efficient, I'd found a few flats I fancied within a matter of minutes and a couple of searches. So. I made the call and like thier website, the reps I've spoken to have all been very efficient. Appointments are made, so we'll see if they're nice on the eye too. The flats, I mean. read more

So you're just walking out of a lecture back to your Hyde Park abode and its that time of year when you're getting a bit naffed off with your housemates that never buy loo roll and bam! walk straight into City Red before you've even left the University campus. Yes these guys really know how to trap a student. So I fell into the trap of not resting until I had seen every available 2 bedroom house and flat one year and went to City Red. Basically their properties were ok. Yes. I did just say that. If you have read any of my other reviews of letting agents you may have noticed a tendency to moan about the terrible state of the properties and the hideous way the letters lied through their teeth telling me 'its a nice little property'. So saying 'ok' is amazing! I didn't find the house for me through them but I would consider trying next time. read more

Worst letting agent I've ever dealt with. 3 months and counting for basic maintenance to be carried out (including broken furniture and mould management). 19/20 won't pick up the phone and are almost just as bad with emails. Avoid at all costs. read more

Looking forward to not having to deal with these people again! Rented one of their managed properties, the house was decent enough although pretty shoddy carpets and cheap furnishings. The main problem is the way they speak to you, it's very patronizing and when there are problems it is always your fault until you prove otherwise and then there is no apology, you will be fined £25 if your rent is 3 days late and £50 after five days. They also charge you wherever they possibly can for any maintenance around the house, including trying to charge me for a blind that was broken when we were burgled?! Anyway, I would try to avoid these people where possible! read more

City Red are without a doubt the worst letting agents I have ever used. The house I moved into in Leeds was dirty, mouldy and poorly-maintained. After having the food cupboards cleaned of mould, the guttering partially repaired, and the overgrown garden chopped back to bare earth, the landlord made an unannounced visit and declared that we were "costing him money", and that all future requests for maintainance should go through him. City Red were unconcerned when I told them that the landlord made an unscheduled visit, and were willing to let him take over the responsibilty for maintainance. The house had a serious problem with damp which was causing mould and mildew to grow inside the house. The landlord's solution to this was not to fix the guttering properly, which was an obvious cause of the problem, but rather to bring round an 800Watt dehumidifier which he suggested we run every night at our own expense. Getting the deposit money to be returned proved very difficult. I had been quite careful when filling in the inventory to make a note of anything which was dirty or damaged but I had neglected to put down that the sink had a crack in it. The crack was already there when we moved into the house, but we still had to pay £95 out of our deposits for a replacement. Eventually, four weeks after moving out of the property we got some of our deposit money back. This is disgraceful behaviour, and to my mind demonstrates that City Red clearly puts the interests of its landlords well before that of its tenants. Students beware, in my experience City Red are not a trustworthy company, and they will try and keep your deposit at the end of your tenancy. There are certainly much better letting agents for students in Leeds. Stick with Unipol! read more

City Red had a really nice selection of houses. We did quite a bit of viewings with a number of agents in Hyde Park and some of the houses they showed us were terrible. We were impressed with the houses we saw with City Red in that they were all furnished nicely and well maintained. Now that we've actually been living in a City Red house for about 4 months I definayely rate them as one of the best agents in Leeds mainly beacuse the staff are very nice and responsive and we generaly hardly have any maintenance. I would definately consider resigning for the house we're in now. read more

I wanted to rent out a flat in the city centre for a year. I searched for 1 bed-roomed properties in Leeds and i saw the link to city red website. I went on there site which was very helpful with good description and pictures. I rang up and the call was answered and dealt with in a matter of minutes, I was very happy with the level of customer service. I had a viewing for four properties and i moved in one of them in following week, they were very efficient in getting me signed up and have been very helpful with maintenance problems. I have been living at the property for four months and would be quite happy to stay with city red next year as well! Thumbs up!! read more

We thought, with City Red being on the University campus they'd be ok and decent. Very wrong. The staff are rude, it took weeks and weeks for any maintenance to occur(with several reminders). Also any maintenance that did occur was an absolute bodge-job. We arrived in our house to find it in a complete tip, with a filthy kitchen and a huge amount of rabbit droppings on all the carpets. AVOID! read more

Poor. No disgraceful. On the one hand they were all very charming. They showed us some properties, one immediately and we signed contracts on an agreeable property on the Wednesday to move in on the Saturday. The wordy David Brent type manager (if you can't spot him yourself I am prepared to be called wrong!!) offered several assurances and said he personally would introduce us to the flat mates; breaking off a golf game to help, I was suspicious though and specifically asked him if I could rely on him. They did not want a deposit, nor the administration fee of £120. With that suspicion I phoned on Thursday to check on things and they said the property had gone to someone else. The contract was worthless, because I am informed that it isn't a contract, something I have left with others who know better than I. David Brent is unavailable now, excepting a muffled undiscernable voice disguised by wind and traffic. I can't get him on his mobile properly or at the office where the polite young assistants are fronting the phones. Watch out for the Wembley ticket story con whereby he regails his plight at getting ripped off and the "that's something I couldn't do..." trick. It's a let down when your contract? signed by the agent is worthless and your Son has knowhere to live come Saturday. Oh and I have handed over my passport and driving licence details and all. Actually they did offer us a flat in another area of Leeds that was impractical and untenable and anyway I wondered, a) whether this very shoddy flat was difficult to get rid of and here was their perfect victim, and, b) whether my new found status of 'mug' should be confounded by signing more paperwork, investing more trust and worrying about a potentially homeless Son over the weekend. Right now we are back in Leeds trying to find a property with a reputable agent. More money; we are staying over, more worry. If you value your childs security, you prefer low blood pressure and need to trust your letting agent go anywhere else, I feel such a mug. Shelter have a useful help line in this situation as does the citizen's advice but quite honestly leave well alone. read more

We are new residents with City Red, and have had a fair amount of issues with the property we are currently living in. The staff at City Red non the less, are always happy to help with any issue, providing a polite and courteous service. Now that the once abandoned property has been restored to its former glory, we would definitely recommend City Red to any prospecting tenants. We would like to thank City Red, and the lovely ladies behind the desk, for rectifying our issues as quickly as they did. We will definitely be letting from City Red in the future! read more

If you're a student, don't expect to be treated like a real person... This letting agent is located on the actual campus of the University of Leeds and so is very conveniently placed for students looking for properties in their second and third years. It seems that this trade makes up the majority of their business, and this was how I ended up using them. When visiting a 'student' letting agency I understand that standards are going to be lower than those catering to professionals, but in hindsight the poor service was deeply frustrating. To be fair, at the outset when looking for a property and deciding to sign, Cityred were pretty helpful and the signing of contracts process etc all went smoothly. But honestly, that is where their service ends. Setting up standing orders for rent was troublesome because we received three different rates on three separate visits before nailing down the amount we owed. This is part of a larger problem that you can never seem to talk to the same member of staff twice. Indeed it seems that the place is staffed by a large number of part time workers with very little or no prior experience in letting / accomodation. Whilst other agencies have one member of staff to specialize in each step of the letting process, at Cityred it seems that every employee is expected to know how to do everything, ending up of course with nobody really knowing how to do anything. Servicing / maintenance of the property was slow. Luckily we had an excellent landlord who actually preferred that we approach him directly, so this was largely negated. For us, the reason we preferred this set up was because he got things sorted in a day, instead of the 3 to who-knows-how-many days Cityred took. The landlord also preferred this arrangement because Cityred were blatantly ripping him off. For example, when asked to provide a desk and chair for a room they charged our landlord £90. Subsequent investigation of the ikea catalogue (prompted by the obvious cheap quality of the furniture) showed they were worth about £15 together, with the agency pocketing the rest! At the end of the year, return of my deposit took far longer than the 21 days mandated by the contract. In fact it was almost 50 days before I received it! Excuses of being 'busy' were hardly credible, considering that Leeds Uni is a veritable ghost town over the summer, with hardly a student tenant in sight. Staff were effectively apathetic, especially considering that £250 is quite a lot to most students. In summary, don't be drawn in by that big bold red banner and its convenient location! Cityred is the typical student letting agent that just wants your signature on the contract and doesn't care beyond getting your rent every month. Their constant loss of documents / details and amateurish staff verge on infuriating. For tenants and landlords alike - AVOID. read more

No regard for tenant's, maintenance issues ignored, neglectful, breach the contract without caring. I would absolutely avoid this estate agent at all costs, just look at some of the other reviews online and you will see this is not just a one off situation, but that they do this with every tenant they have. It's as simple as this - they just don't care, they all have money symbols in their eyes and you wont be any different to them. read more

B******s, that's the only word I can think to describe them. Just moving out of halls and getting a shared house with four other people! And we're buzzing about this new place were moving into. All is well until the end of the first week when our oven brakes. Now at this point were not to bothered we think it's alright we'll give them a ring they'll come out sort it bing bang bosh done! But NO! Three months later several phone calls several emails, telephone calls from patents (to which city red have no record of) and still a broken oven! I know we're students but there is only so long a person can live off of takeaways and microwave meals! So as I say three months go by and we finally receive our "new oven" all is well for another month or so which in this time we develop a squirrel issue in our attic! Countless sleepless nights go by after hearing the squirrels scratch at the ceiling since reporting the issue to city red! Not only is it annoying but it is also a health risk if the squirrels decide to chew through electricity cables etc! This issue goes on till maybe two months before the end of our tendency agreement! With countless visits from rent a kill. It comes to around half way through our tenemcy and one of the most feared problems happen. We get burgled! Of course city red have an emergency line which you can call obviously in an emergency. So after a couple of failed attempts at calling this number we finally get through to a pleasebt very tired sounding bloke who agrees to come round the following day to assess the damage caused! (if you think of all the houses city red rent out you would think they could afford to hire another person for emergencies) but anyway, the following day sure enough this bloke comes round assesses the damage and organises for all the damage to be put right! We think that's fine it's alright! So some people come rounds fix some door locks and fixes the back door. This would be fine if they did a decent job of it! When they had finished and left the back door was put on at such an angle it was a pain to open and close! Having to ouch the handle right up in order for the door to close consequently led to handle snapping and rendering the door useless until it was fixed at the end of our tenency! Finally by the end of all this rubbish we were glad to be moving out and on with our student like to be rid of all the hassle city red cause! Oh wait no there's still issues with getting our deposit back! We called up the office (which ny the way you have to ring about a hundred times to get through ( unless you wait for about three hours)) and inquired how we go about getting our deposit back! The lady on the phone told us as soon as we have paid the bills and given them a reference number for the bills they would reimburse us with our deposits! Which is fair enough! So we sort out all our bills get these reference numbers and give city red a ring; " hi there im calling about getting my deposit back I've got these reference numbers from the bills I've just paid" "oh sorry we can't accept the reference numbers we need some sort of written confirmation from the company" But you said you want the reference numbers" "no we need written confirmation the company should send you an email confirmation when it's all been paid" Blah blah blah long story short we manage to get all this sorted over about a week or two! So now were just awaiting our cheques to come through minus the amount charged for cleaning etc which was also rubbish as we have it back in better cleaned condition than what we got it in but couldn't be arsed to appeal against £13 each so sorted that. Finally I get a letter through from city red! Explaining these charges what there for etc along with my cheque! Took one look at the cheque as thought ffs. How can you speedo my name correctly on all these documents and all the letters I receive from you yet fail to spell it correctly on the cheque. So because of this I have to plea with the people at the bank to process the cheque assuring them it wasn't fraud so that the money could go into my account in order for my new rent to come out do I wasn't charged! Honestly if you want a year worth of stress and frustration by all means go with them they offer some ok houses as long as no problems arise! If not look elsewhere! It'll save you alot of hassle! read more

As first-time renters, my partner and I thought that Cityred, located as it is on campus at Leeds Uni would be a good letting agent to use, with their ample student accommodation, and pledge of customer service on their website. Well, someone needs to tell them to treat the customer like he or she is always right. After living in my property for just four months, I received a notice to quit from Cityred. When we signed the contract, they changed from a 12 month to a 6 month contract at the last minute, telling me it was a 'formality' and we would be able to renew our contract after six months with no problems. Now they insist that we were informed of potential building plans our landlord had, despite me having a number of documents with a 12 month contract implied. Our contract ends on the 31st of December, a date I never, ever would have agreed to move on. They have been disrespectful, and at times downright rude. I have been called the wrong name in a number of emails (despite my name being in my email address) and had my emails ignored. They lied about our property before we rented it, and it took a long process of emails and finally a meeting with a manager to get anything done. We reported a problem with the alarm system the day we moved in, and then every couple of weeks for four months. Finally, after about four and a half months, they replied, saying that the landlord doesn't want to pay for the repair as our tenancy will end in two months. When I asked for compensation, they responded with poorly written emails and now are choosing to just ignore me. After moving our furniture out, the landlord started ripping our flat apart before we'd handed our keys in (when we technically still lived there), and after a long, very unprofessional dispute, ending in us threatening to take them to the small claims court, we got our deposit back, plus a small amount of money (less than the rent that was owed to us). A number of maintenance people seem to have keys to our flat, and in one instance no-one from Cityred could identify one of the men who came in, so are unidentified people walking around with a key to our flat. Another time they couldn't find the key to our flat and had to ensure one of us was in for maintenance. (The only time they've called before arriving, despite me continuously asking for warning) I work in customer service, and if I treated customers like they have treated me, I would lose my job. I wish they had any pride in their work, and could appreciate that they are responsible for people's homes. The only good comment I can make about cityred is that if you have a simple maintenance request (eg. The rubber lining in the oven has broken) they respond quickly (but without warning). If you can manage to make an appointment to speak to someone face to face, then they are polite and helpful. I would actively dissuade anyone from choosing Cityred; there are a lot of properties available in Leeds, use Cityred as a very last resort. If you are going to rent from them, act like you are an idiot child and get everything explained to you in simple terms, and in writing, and signed by a member of staff. Question everything and make sure you, and they, understand what is expected. I hope other letting agents aren't as unprofessional as this one. read more

I would give this shambles of a company less than one star if it was an option on Yelp. Not only is their sign up process very long winded and invasive, requiring your guarantor's employers to sign a form to prove employment and also sending wage slips / proof of savings, they are the worst and most inefficient company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. During the arduous sign up process, we had to chase around this letting agency for the paperwork, and every time we thought that we would be able to move in and rang to confirm, there was another Herculean task to complete. Why didn't they tell us all of the prescribed paperwork at one time, I hear you ask? Well, the answer to that is because they are SHIT. Every time I rang up I was met with yet another whingeing teenage girl on the other end of the phone telling me 'oh actually, there's one more thing for you to complete...' - MULTIPLE TIMES. Do not sign with this company if you value your sanity, since I believe that it is in their mission statement to drive tenants to absolute distraction. read more

Circumstances dictated recently that I needed to rent out my 3-bedroom property that I own in Burley as I was moving elsewhere. Given I have a full-time job and have no experience of letting, I really didn't know where to start, until I made an enquiry at Cityred. The team there were incredibly friendly and helpful and talked me through everything I needed to do in order to let my house. They marketed my property and soon after it was let! Whats more, they called me to verify I was happy with the chosen tenants before signing the paperwork. A process I envisaged being a nightmare has turned out to be pleasantly simple. On an ongoing basis, I don't need to worry about my property - the Cityred team will contact me whenever maintenance is required or a problem crops up and deal with it on my behalf. A weight of my mind indeed! Thanks Cityred for your professional support. read more

The guys at Cityred have just been wonderful in every way! We took on a student property with them in September and yes there were a few issues that the landlord needed to sort out, but I must say that within the first couple of weeks of our tenancy all the issues were sorted which is a good considering what most letting agents are like in Leeds. Being 3rd year students we've been renting in Leeds for a while and have had some bad experiences with other agents. Thumbs up to Cityred! read more

City Red, or schitty red more like. I honestly don't know where to begin - it's hard to come across as rational when you have had such a bad experience. Moronic secretaries, incapable of being helpful - like drawing blood from a stone, just stupid, stupid people only there to make a quick buck. customer service - appalling. If you are going to set your operational standards so low, at least employ a few more simpletons to share the work load! You really need all the help you can get. Handy men - not so handy - with tools and skills worthy of the early learning centre - back to the job centre i think. RIDICULOUS protocols - e.g. If you have any problems on the weekend, they do offer an 'emergency' handyman. quite useful - if he didn't need permission to do his job, which he can only get in office hours, Monday-to-Friday - slight contradiction there - muppets. I can't be bothered to write anymore, because quite frankly city red are not worth it! But i will say this. City Red is a shell. A really nice, grand, imposing building, located on campus with absolutely nothing inside (just like their employers heads - an empty vacuum where a brain should be). They do have a nice mini cooper though. This combined with their excellent location makes them the ultimate student trap. So please, don't be fooled by their lies and appearance as a successful letting agent as they drive you around Leeds to the average-at-best properties that possess. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

City red are by far the worst company...never mind letting agency that I have ever dealt with. The list of problems with the house is endless....mould in the rooms (even though we had an inspection when we first moved in and were told it would be sorted, but we are just about to move out and no sign of anything being done), shower doesn't work, door too big for the door frame, furniture falling apart, front door so rotten that in the middle of winter it let the cold air in through the gaps making the house freezing - the door has now been replaced but has left a big whole in the wall and mess surrounding it, heating has broken numerous times and has taken weeks for it to be fixed, radiator in basement room doesn't work, hob doesn't work, light with wires hanging out of it, the radiators are still on even when the boiler is off, the toilet leaks and the whole house was generally disgusting when we moved in! All these problems have been reported numerous times to city red and it is only the door that has really been fixed and that involved me and my housemates going into the office on a daily basis for several weeks! The staff are also very rude and extremely unhelpful. I am very glad to be moving out of this house and having nothing further to do with this company. read more

I cannot believe some of the negative reviews I am reading on here, but being a restaurant manager I get it 'you only hear when things go wrong'? Nearly anyone who has worked with in retail, catering, services etc will tell you that I think its only right that you hear when things are great also, so here you go! I have rented from CityRed for years now, first as a student, and then, having been so impressed with them as a professional. In that time, on every occasion I have been required to contact their office (minor repairs, contract stuff etc) I have been so impressed. All repairs have been carried out straight away by friendly, proffesional staff. Communication has been excellent, I was always informed when tradesmen or an inspection were due, and the staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could. What makes CityRed so good? The answer is simple. You get a professionalism equal to the very best top end agents out there, but with a warm, personal and approachable character. I have to say that both Andy and Lisa have been excellent throughout, nothing has seemed too much trouble, and they always dealt with everything with a smile on their face (they could have been gritting their teeth). I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. read more

Would not recommend any student to go with this letting agency. When we moved into our property it was absolutely filthy and had to be cleaned from top to bottom. We tolerated the lack of concern for repair work, threatening e-mails and letters claiming that the rent hadn't been paid (they always found it in their account eventually) and viewings without any prior warning, for a year. However, the main issue with the company was that after moving out it took months for them to return our deposits. They claimed that we had left a quilt in a cupboard, which didn't even exist, in the house and that we would have to pay to have it removed. Initially they tried to charge us £20 each, there were five of us, amounting to £100. £100 for the removal of one quilt from a cupboard that didn't even exist!! We were treated appallingly and passed from employee to employee, each telling us completely different things. Eventually we agreed to a charge of £5 because we couldn't be bothered to argue with them anymore and finally got our deposits back. I wish we'd never set foot in there!! read more

By far the most useless bunch of buffoons I have ever met. We moved into a house that was filthy, mouldy and flea ridden. It hadn't been inspected or cleaned although they told us it had. We spent several month trying to get them to do anything. We moved in in July and the fleas weren't dealt with until October. The gutter leaked causing damp and mould. The toilet leaked. It was a complete shambles. It took them months to do anything about it and even when they did they didn't care if we were happy or not. A group of lobotomised monkeys could do a better job than the employees there. We signed a termination of contract in December. Do not let with them ever!! As long as they're getting paid they dont care about their tennents. Oh and just encase you've been told by them that they're unipol accredited THEY'RE NOT! They lied to us about that, they are at best unipol code supporters. read more

I absolutely cannot recommend this estate agent. I am a tenant and they are by far the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. They send text messages, immediately before disconnecting their phones, to say your home will be viewed the next day. Even when you have phoned them a thousand times and asked that they CALL you in advance of a viewing... and that they CALL you just before arriving for a viewing - they never will. Even if they say that they have "made a note to call you" they never will. And even if you ask them to remove you from their text message list, they never will. And god help you if you need repairs. I had to wait weeks - and in the end the plumber never came back to finalise the job! The leak was is fixed - but if I was the owner I'd be quite annoyed that the plumber didn't come back to stick my bathroom back together properly! You have been warned!

On an ongoing basis, I don't need to worry about my property the Cityred team will contact me whenever maintenance is required or a problem crops up and deal with it on my behalf. A weight of my mind indeed! Thanks Cityred for your professional support. read more

Cityred are an absolute joke. They lost our first payment as they gave us the wrong bank details back in April for the first rent due in July. I spent a whole day on a paperchase with my bank, trying to find the lost payment which had gone out of my account on the due date. Cityred are still trying to find this money. The landlord has it!! This was the account they had given us!! Today they are trying to accuse us of not paying Dec. rent! It left my account on 23 Nov but as it doesn't appear on their paperwork, they just send out a threatening text without even an enquiry to me!! They assume that the tenant is in the wrong before checking and never apologise. They are totally useless. Beware everyone who deals with them. Keep records in triplicate as you will need them! read more

These people are liars and unprofessional. They caused me nothing but trouble through their incompetence. As a landlord I was charged more per month than I received in rent. Their maintenance team billed for things they didn't provide and I am currently taking legal action against them for fraud. AVOID! The employee/branch manager put in charge of my HMO was the man in this article http://gu.com/p/2ftvz?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other He doesn't pass the "fit and proper" test for the HMO license and as such was operating illegally. I am currently liaising with the regulatory body and the council to have him prosecuted and the business shut down. read more

I've just moved in to this beautiful 4 bed house. They helped us find the right a home and spent so much time with us when trying to make our decision between 3 properties. they liaised with the landlord to reduce the price and even got the furniture that we requested before we moved in. so far i have had no issues with Cityred and all has been positive (fingers crossed). I find the staff very helpful, however on some occasions the office gets too busy for them to answer the phone, but its no problem because i just walk in to the office from uni as they are situated just off campus and get them to deal with me in person! read more

My boyfriend and I recently needed to relocate to Leeds for work reasons and had a really tight time schedule for finding a house a getting moved in. The Cityred team were incredibly helpful and found us the kind of property we wanted right away. Other agents had tried to take us to places in the wrong area etc. in order to let their properties, but the guys at Cityred actually listened to what we wanted! There was a couple of minor maintenance issues when we viewed the flat, but by the time we moved in 3 days later they had fixed them all and the flat was immaculate and ready for us. read more

I have just moved out of the property that I have rented from Cityred for 2.5 years, and I have nothing but praise for them. I have rented from a few different agencies in Leeds and Cityred are by the far the best in terms of maintenance. I did have a few problems in my flat, but the guys at Cityred always sent their maintenance team out quickly, and everything was fixed there and then, if possible. I also got my full deposit back after only 1 week of waiting. I previously have done and will continue to recommend Cityred as a letting agent to anyone who is looking to rent in Leeds.

I would definately consider resigning for the house we're in now. read more

I found them very helpful throughout the whole year i had lived with them. It took me just over a month to get my deposit back, but i got the full amount so it was worth the wait. The city centre apartment that i had was beautiful. They took good care of me and any problems that i had. the staff were down to earth and trustworthy and all in all i had a good experience. I would have rented again off them if i hadn't have found a job outside of Leeds. I have rented off many agencies prior to this and can now safely say that city red are one of the OK ones! read more

As good as they get! Finally a letting agent that gets things done. There is one thing that I've always hated, which is dealing with letting agents. Nothing has been more stressful than renting during my student years. We were burglared earlier in the year, and called the cityred emergency number at chap called Paul answered and was at our place with 20 mins boarding up. And just yesterday our roof was leaking and these guys sorted out by the 8pm....from my experience of renting in Leeeds, I would say these guys are as good as it gets. read more

My girlfriend and I moved to Leeds from Manchester two weeks ago. We've been staying at a friends and needed to move our quickly. What I liked about Cityred was the service that they offered. The chap taht did the viewings was exterenly helpful, as we were on a certain budget and he made sure that all the properties we saw fell within the budget. We booked over 8 viewings, and they were all conducted on time. We have now rented a flat in the city centre from Cityred, so far no problems! (touch wood) read more

Honestly, this letting agent is quite good. I've been renting in Leeds for a few years now and this was the first time I use Cityred, I can not fault them. I felt obliged to write this as I read one of the bad reviews, and must say that it is not representative of the experience I;ve had with them. Renting from them has not been trouble free, but these guys are attentive and get things sorted. Most of the other agents I've been in with in Leeds are far worst in nearly every way! read more
