Okay. Let's think of a theoretical situation where you and your lady visits Paris. Let's just say that the French...oh...might know a thing or two about fashion and beauty. Now suppose that the French also makes beauty products (cleansers and creams) that would make Estee Lauder look like amateurs, but for the most part, it's a bit of an expensive hustle. Now suppose if some pharmacy in a rather expensive neighborhood was able to pull in high sales volume, and were therefore be able to push the prices down to the point where they can offer you a 30% discount over other pharmacies. These are items that would cost at least 10x stateside. Well, that's when your lady picks up a micro-stroke, goes crazy with the selection, buy so much that it qualifies for a tax rebate...and challenge the checked luggage weight limits for Air France. For me, the theoretical became real (minus the micro-stroke...I think) Okay, first things first - the place isn't very big, and the second floor is practically useless unless you are hitting the caisses to pay up, or you feel like overpaying for homeopathic stuff and vitamins. Focus your attention on the first floor. Second, this place gets obscenely crowded and things sell out fast - be quick, be agile. Third - they think they can speak English, but they can't. Whatever comes out of their baguette-hole sounds almost, but not quite like English. If you plan to come here, bring a list. With photos. And size measurements, and maybe prices listed in Euros. Point and ask, and expect pointing to general areas on shelves in return. They are not rude if you aren't impatient. Also, remember where things are - they are not too good with labeling or signage. Fourth - yes, the prices are excellent here - we are talking 30 to 40% cheaper than the usual pharmacies. Don't believe me? Shop around - there are CityPharmas all over the city, but only this one has decent prices (well, minus this pharmacy near BHV Marais, but that's just giving too much away) In conclusion - remember that Air France charges 89 Euros for an extra piece of baggage. Sometimes stuffing it full of products with another bag and paying that fee would be just fine - some of the stuff they carry are either obscenely expensive on Amazon, or not available at all. read more

This is a French skincare mecca. I have been here 3 times so far in the past 2 trips and I documented the US prices, Monoprix prices and compared that to City Pharma. City always proved to be the least expensive one by quite a lot. The trick is to get there when they open the door at 8:30AM in the morning. Have a shopping list with you so you can quickly find them without getting too overwhelmed with selections here. The top scoring skin brands are Aveneu, Laroche, Darphin and Caudalie as well as Klorane for hair. What can I say that other patrons to CityPharma haven't said? Yes, it's got the best prices and it's insanely crowded. So all I have is some advice if you're brave or crazy enough to make the trip! 1) The place is super popular so prepare yourself mentally and physically. Don't go when you're hangry. Just. Don't. Do. It. It gets crowded and hot in there so try to keep the bulky coats and bags to a minimum so you have the ease to squeeze in the aisles. 2) The aisles are TINY and narrow so know that you'll get bumped into and don't be afraid to push through--but BE POLITE!!! 3) If you know ahead of time what you want, either write it down or screen shot it on your phone so you can quickly identify it and show it to the ladies that are there to help you locate the items. I am in and out in 30 as long as I can reach what I need and throw it in my basket. This is not the kind of place you dilly dally in. 4) The "drugs" and true pharmacy items are upstairs or behind the counter at checkout. If you need more traditional items there, then go to those areas. Or honestly go to a true Pharmacie, and not a Parapharmacie like CityPharma. The hair, facial and skin products are downstairs closer to the main entry. 5) Some of the items are repeatedly placed around. If you see inventory is low on something, look around and close by as it may be on a back shelf near the aisle you're in. 6) If you're a non-EU visitor, make sure you show them your passport and ask them to prepare for the VAT right when you get up to the counter. Ask first when you go up, as on my recent trip I got some attitude from the cashier when I asked as she was beginning to ring my items up. Know that you must spend at least 175 Euros to be eligible. 7) If you can, go early before the mid morning and early afternoon crowds show up. I found right when they open to about 11, or later in the afternoon are best. I've had mostly good experiences here. The shopkeepers are nice, especially if you are prepared and try to speak a little French to them. I know they must deal with a lot of hectic crowds and pushy customers so I try to give them slack (although when they are rude it can be irritating). I think the woman who checked me out this recent trip made a judgement on me because I'm Asian and we have an unfortunate reputation for being obnoxious and buying out tons of the products on the shelves. I got the hairy eyeball and some trash talking--she didn't realize I understood her but just smiled and was polite I think she suspected I knew what she had been saying. You're not there to make friends so don't take it personally and just take deep breaths! read more

This is the pharmacy to end all pharmacy's! Be warned that this will be an overwhelming experience for your senses. The product selection is incredible as you have every French brand and more in this one stop shop. I would suggest to have a list of products you plan on buying before coming as you will forget everything you intended to buy upon the sight of the products in stock. The prices are competitive and seem to be more reasonable than other pharmacy's. HOWEVER, the biggest downside is the crowd of people. I have not yet discovered a way to avoid it but be prepared to feel uncomfortable because this place will make you feel like a sardine. Expect to wait in the check out line as well. This is a shopping landmark in my mind whenever I think of Paris and I despite the crowds, I still recommend coming because it is quite the experience and you will get the best products at the best price. 11/25/2019 Woo wee this was a rodeo shopping spree high! I loved it so so much. Everything you want/ need is right here for skin care. Amazing prices and i did price comparisons in different hoods. This location has the best prices and promos. I got there 830 and there was a small crowd waiting. I am someone that did not bring the list and ended up circling the floor a few times hunting for that yellow promo placard. Some stuff has gwp samples attached too. I have such a love/hate relationship with this place. I love it because it has everything you could possibly need for good skin care. Not just moisturizers and cleaners. They also have body lotions and fragrances by your favorite French lines. Upstars is the pharmacy where you can get additional products as well as natural medical products (for cleanses, etc). Or talk to the pharmacist and receive (certain) medicine without a prescription. What's there to hate? The hundreds of thousands of other people jammed in here who think they are the only ones shopping here. Once I caught a woman trying to steal from me, so be aware of that. I've been coming here for years and notice that the help you receive is on the decline. I speak no French and that's never been a problem. What I mean is that when I asked a specific question, they might take me to another location, look for something they had it mind and explain what it is and how to use it. Now, I feel that they grab the closest thing, throw it in your bag- that's it. No explanation nothing. I think it's up to you to do the research about what you need. It's easy to find the French brands online, do some research, even get an idea of the price. When you go in you will see others with lists or they have pictures on their phones. MY TIP: Before you go to France (anywhere really, not just Paris) Google French Pharmacy products. It's a good start. You need something in mind before going here or you will be completely overwhelmed. When you find something interesting, take a screenshot and make an album in your gallery. Then go into anywhere with the green plus (indicating a pharmacy) and look for a worker with amazing skin. Ask her what she uses. They love the compliment and with readily give advice (even with a language barrier). Then look at the prices. Sometimes I find something on my list for less than City Pharma. If you are in Paris for several days, scout City Parma 1st. Take pictures of what you want so you know the prices. Then when you are out and about in the city, stop in other places to compare. Not sure if my first review will go away. After three consecutive visits (three different trips all together, I never got samples again but my go to items are Biafine. Cheap moisturizer Biafine ACT. Have yet to try but supposedly amazing as well Embryolisse. I stocked up on this. Got me 3!! Caudalie face spray is great for the summer but I don't use it that much to justify it. I love me cheap French creams more lol. I passed on the bioderma micelles water this time. Love it but I got a special offer with embryolisse that comes with one plus I have a few other ones back at home and can't justify the weight. Also, prices are good but also average compared to other pharmacies. Works out well if you are planning to spend a lot. When I arrived in Paris last week, my first order of business was not the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or Printemps....it was to map my way to the St. Sulpice metro stop and head to City-Pharma as soon as it opened (8:30 am - btw). Here is what I did TWICE and lived to tell about it: - Get there early. Even at 8:30 am on a Tuesday, this place was busy. - Wear comfy shoes, clothes and keep your purse light. - Grab a basket. They're huge but helpful. - Bring a list. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. This place is overwhelming, it is small, but it is 2 floors jam packed with A LOT of fabulous stuff. - Bring your passport for the tax free form. Let's face it, you WILL spend more that $175 Euro, you might as well get a little kickback. - Be nice to your neighbors and the staff. This place is a madhouse of small aisles that everyone is in together. Make it pleasant. - Ask questions. I found that in the afternoon there is more staff walking the aisles offering assistance. Take it! Everyone is very nice - and at least TRY to speak French. These are the items that I've used and that I am thrilled with so far: Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream Nuxe Oil - Gold and Plain - smells terrific and has many uses Caudalie - Beauty Elixir - this stuff is incredible! ( I wish I bought more) Biafine ACT - healed a burn in a flash! Homeoplasmine - relieved chafing while I was in Paris and has MANY more uses. Nuxe lip balm - Also a spectacular item! Right now I'm looking up the US prices for some of the more popular items Paris' City Pharma has to offer: the huge tube of BiafineACT cost me €3.99 at City Pharma - online (popular US shopping site that offers "discounted" items), those go for $23+ each. A 40 gram tube of Homeoplasmine cost me €2.99 at CP. Online (US), the same tube costs $24.99. Then there's Caudalie's Eau de Beauté, or "Beauty Elixir", inspired by Queen Isabella of Hungary's "Elixir of Youth". I think I bought this for under €26 at CP (the big bottle, 3.4. fl. oz, & the 1 luxury item you'd find in my Survivor Game Bag); in that US site, this same bottle costs $43 or more. My sister recently discovered this bottle sitting on my vanity & asked me why it smells like heaven. The response was a melancholic "because it is". Should've bought 3 bottles. I'm hooked on this stuff. There are definitely some good finds at Paris' City Pharma, & it's true what they say that this is no secret; many are in the know. You'll see when you visit. I could hardly get around in the store when I went there for my haul & my sister's, because the place was packed, & this was what, high noon? The stuff in tubes (Homeoplasmine, etc.), you will find on the upper level, by the prescription area counters, to your right. Also check out Avibon's Vitamin Pommade (anti-aging, selling for like $60+ per tube in the US, Gwyneth Paltrow's favorite), Embryolisse Concentrated Lait Creme, Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm, Baume de Rose By Terry, etc. It might be best to do some online research before you visit, to know which products are of best value or rated 4-5 stars & are reasonably priced, especially compared to US prices. The pharmacists at City Pharma are helpful, knowledgeable experts, although they will also follow you around to make sure you don't shoplift. Also, ask only the pharmacists (or the people in white coats) for assistance. An irate worker - might have been the custodian - told me & another French lady, "white!!", when we asked for recommendations. I think what she meant was that we were supposed to ask the ladies in white, or the pharmacists, for assistance. At a neighborhood supermarket (also in Paris, & this was the first time this ever happened to me), 1 of the lady workers asked me to show her the contents of my purse. Maybe this is just how they do things in Paris, & I wasn't exactly judged based on my mullet & tattered Walmart shirt. Sometimes it's really best not to take things personally. At CP, there were also male guards keenly observing the shoppers. As expected, I spent a ton of €, lol, but with tax returns - thanks Global Blue - it's as if I got my Beauty Elixir & 1 BiafineACT tube for free! I will DEFINITELY go back to Paris for City Pharma (& for the food, the art, the macarons, chocolates, etc) :) Hopefully with my sister, next time. Can't wait. Wow, lots of research took me to this place, I did not know though that this place was going to be like shopping a black Friday sale in the States. Right from the moment I walked in I realized that my shopping list which I had prepared on my phone was no competition to the crazy shoppers from all over the world that go on a shop madness maybe to resale the products. Just know that the variety of items and the price discount is pretty insane. I went in trying to get like 8 items and walked out with 3 bags of goodies on the first day and had to return for 2 more bags right before I left France. Holy crap. This is the ultimate haven for the skincare geeks out there. You can easily read about City-Pharma and its charm on online articles and magazines. I'm not kidding - this really lives up to its hype. I went inside and was automatically elbowed by a bunch of ladies trying to get their goodies and putting products inside their plastic baskets. I don't think this happened with bad intentions. I mean, who doesn't jump for joy for French cosmetic brands? Note that this shop has limited walking space, considering the sheer amount of people inside. So be prepared to see bodies bumping bodies! I squeed at the sight of major French brands on the shelves. This includes La Roche Posay, Klorane, Vichy, Nuxe, Biotherm, Caudalie, Avene, etc. I was particularly looking for the A313 Pomade that doesn't exist in the states. Unfortunately, City-Pharma doesn't carry the product anymore. I had to go into other random French pharmacies and individually ask if they have the A313 pomade. No biggie! Vichy Dermablend makeup----best full coverage makeup in the market. Forget Mac lancome or chanel. Avene hydriance bonne mine----This tinted moisturizer is the best. I have the light version for combo skin. It had spf 30 and goes on mat. It adapts to your skin tone and is a good alternative for summer or makeup free days. Also good as a bb cream. Respectissme mascara la Roche possay---- Excellent mascara for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Anthelios LRP blur spf 50 sunscreen----Sunscreen for face with a mousse texture. Mat finish no stinging eyes or sweat. Aderma Exomega cream---- this is an amazing cream for irritated dry skin. It calms my dermatitis and when I have mosquito bites it helps me stop scratching. The rest of the line is also excellent for sensitive skin. The soap bar is escentual in my bathroom and while traveling. Rene Furter multipurpose oil---Everyone raves about nuxe body oil. For me its to heavy and if you are allergic to nuts like me you will scratch like crazy. The furterer has a nice smell. Its also for hair and I use it to style and condition my hair. Rene Furter has also excellent hair products and wonderful shampoos. Serozinc LRP thermal spray---- This is awesome its good from healing a zit to healing foot fungus. Razor burns. Minor wounds. Stock up only available in Europe. Avene couverance concealer---Best concealer doesnt irritate eyes. Blends well beter than touch eclat ysl. I can go on. But these are a no miss list. These are stuff I have been using for the past 3 years or more. I have looked for cheaper or equivalent alternatives without sucess. The prices here are the best in Paris. Comparing the supermarket skincare in Paris you are better off buying here. I t believe its wiser to spend your money here than sephora or department stores. As a skincare junkie, I looked forward to visiting City Pharma like any other tourist attraction. I researched things to buy, and really enjoyed that anticipation. Most of the blogs recommended the same things, a little deeper research revealed other treasures. My target research was anti-aging products for mature skin. I wasn't real worried about price comparisons, I just trusted they would be good. I got there on a Monday am in September, about 9:15, light crowd I sort of gawked and circled the first floor (there are 3 floors) for a few minutes then got to work. Most of what we go there for was on the first floor in the front section. Small aisles, very organized by brand. Beware there will be three variation of every product you are looking for so read the labels as best you can. Plenty of help. Overall, English language assistance was not as good as I expected but that's on me. We got by, lol. Two topics I needed help on was a retinol product - and the sales woman was REALLY opinionated that the Darphin product was the best there was. Then, finding A313 pomade was a problem, one person told me they didn't carry it, two people later I found it was up on the third floor behind the counter. They had to request it from upstairs and it came down a chute to her. This was also the check out line, and there was no line, this was around 11am, although it was getting crowded downstairs Well, what a jackpot! I came away with 2 retinol products, vitamin c moisturizer, sunscreens, shampoo, eyelash serum, and staples like micellar water, Embryolisse moisturizer, Biafine. I spent about $210 Euro and $70 of that was the Darphin retinol. I am gobsmacked looking at prices online, after the fact. I am convinced this haul could have cost me over $400 US back home. A coupe of notes: the cashier packaged and sealed my bag for customs and completed my tax refund form (take your passport shopping with you) and and I was able to quickly scan it at the airport for my refund, I lost the micellar water at security because the bottle was too big (Pack it in your luggage and don't carry it on, my mistake). My coworker told me to go there because his wife loved it and she had spent hours there when they visited. I was skeptical at first because I thought that I didn't come all the way to Paris for skincare and haircare items (isn't that what Sephora and Ulta are for?), but decided to stop by. While I didn't stay for hours, I was there for well over an hour and stocked on some amazing deals, notable Caudalie and Rene Furterer. I wish I'd gotten more since the Caudalie items were easily at least half of what they retail in the US where I've seen. My one complaint is that it's very small, especially the aisles, but other than that, a great place to shop for skincare and haircare while in Paris, especially for souvenirs. read more

Totally worth the hype! The deals here are exceptional: 100ml of Nuxe oil for €19, Phyto vitamins 240 capsules for €24 (retails for $85+ tax at Sephora in Canada!), 2 packs of 400ml bioderma for €15. If you only have your heart set on one or two products skip the crowds and go to the local parapharmacie. However if you are looking to take home a large product haul it's worth the trip! I went at 4pm on a Tuesday and it was not nearly as crowded as I would have expected - while it was busy in the aisles I still only waited about 2min to checkout! If you are a beauty product junkie, this is a must-visit while in Paris. The prices are reduced significantly on what you pay in a regular pharmacy. They stock all the brands, and have tons of white coated assistants on the floor to answer your questions and show you where your desired product is. The only thing is it gets massively rammed with people, at all times. The first time I went, I gave up. I went back on a Sat morning just before opening at 9, and it was not bad at all. The aisles are narrow and people carry big baskets so when it is crowded it is awful. And in typical French fashion, the checkout is in a small space with no visible queues. This is an overdue Yelp review. I was here 2 years ago. It gets very crowded so it's best to go early in the morning. I bought several beauty products that qualified me for the VAT refund. Word of advice, take the currency refund at the airport instead of the credit to your credit card. It's instant versus waiting 6 months. The Embryolisse cream I bought is not available at Sephora. The Caudalie cream was half the price I would pay at Sephora. I also got several different sized bottles of the Bioderma micellar water. Amazing prices on the most beauty products, especially the micellar water. I also bought some patches and ointment for muscle aches and pain. These were located on the 2nd level. I will definitely return to shop here when I'm in Paris again. read more

This is the MECCA of all pharmacies in Paris and that says ALOT! The aisles are stuffed with the best brands at the lowest prices. I went early in the morning and the crowd was just starting to arrive so make sure to come early! Rock bottom prices will make you want to buy everything, but keep in mind that it does get heavy! They give you small plastic bags, but if you plan on buying a ton, then bring a sturdy bag maybe with wheels? Checkout is quick as there are a few lines. I have a serious love affair with skincare products. My skin is sensitive and over the years I have learned to take my time researching products and their ingredients before making a purchase. I was in Paris for my honeymoon and wanted to pick up products that I could not find or afford in the U.S. Many French skincare products are designed for sensitive skin, using natural oils and minimal scents. I found this pharmacie on Yelp, I did a quick comparison to prices of products that were available in my neighborhood pharmacie and this one definitely has more variety and better prices. Take advice from the other reviewers; go early when they first open! This place is no secret and it gets jammed packed quickly. I had a hard time moving from aisle to aisle. Another piece of advice is to make a list and bring it with you! The first time I went I had an idea of what brands I wanted to look at but with the chaos in the store plus knowing minimal French it was hard to read the labels and I became confused and a little frustrated. The second time I went I brought a list and it was so much easier to get the products I wanted. Some store employees speak English and can help guide you to the right products but don't count on it. It has been a month since returning home and I've used many products. I will highlight some of my must-haves. Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm: Possibly the best lip balm I have ever used. Put this on at night because it is too thick to wear during the day. It has a beautiful scent and my lips have never been more soft. I bought 5 balms. $2.99 FR/$15.99 US Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse dry oil: This product was highly recommended. This is a multi-use spray and can be used on your skin, hair, bath, or face. I used it on my legs during a hot day and it kept my legs moisturized throughout the day. $11.99 FR/$33.00 US Klorane Shampooing Sec Extra-Doux dry shampoo: Best dry shampoo I've ever tried! Keeps my hair looking fresh later into the evening without weighing my hair down. 2 for $9.00 FR/1 for $10 US Bioderma Créaline H2O Solution Micellaire makeup remover: Sébium H2O is an ultra-mild cleansing formula. Cleans makeup really well especially on nights when you are tired and want to take off makeup quickly before bed. I purchased this in cleansing wipes too. 2 for $10.99 FR/1 for $28.33 US Talika Eye Therapy Patch: Put these patches under your eyes for 30 minutes and it dramatically reduces under eye puffiness. I see a difference every time I use them! $20.00 FR/$39.00 US Decleor Nourishing and soothing foot cream: I love this company but their products are insanely expensive. I was in the market for a nice foot and hand cream and this works great! They make wonderful moisturizers and facial masks as well. $7.99 FR/$28.00 US Additional brands to explore: Embryolisse, Caudalie, La Roche-Posay, and Delarom. The ONLY thing I regretted in Paris was not buying more goods at City-Pharma. - Do your research on French products/brands beforehand! I still felt overwhelmed in the store even though I spent a lot of hours researching ahead of time. There's plenty of French pharmacy advice/tips on google, youtube and blogs like Lisa Eldridge or Gwyneth Paltrow. - Allocate a large enough budget. Since everything is much cheaper here than elsewhere, you will end up wanting to buy a lot more things than you thought you would. Save enough spending money in advance so you really don't have to worry about money. - If you're a tourist like me, plan ahead of time and make sure you have room in your luggage! This was part of the reason why I didn't buy the bulkier combo packages even though they were awesome deals. Looking back, I definitely wish I bought some of the products anyways and just mailed it back home. That would have still been cheaper than buying it online in the U.S. Some products I bought: Bioderma makeup remover - It's not just a hype! It really does easily remove makeup and doesn't have the "burning" sensation that some makeup removers have. I ended up buying two smaller tubes so it can fit better in my luggage. Avene clearance masque - It's an exfoliator mask. I've been using this 2-3 times a week before going into the shower. So far, it's not drying at all unlike other masks I've used. Nuxe rive de miel lip balm - I had very high expectations with this product because of the numerous positive reviews I read beforehand. I've been using this at night since it's very thick. So far, it's decent but nothing spectacular. Eucerin aquaporin active eye cream - It's a hydrating eye cream that I use in the morning. It feels very light, but still moisturizing! Embryolisse lait creme - I was afraid this creme was going to be too thick as a day moisturizer, but it's not. You only need a small amount for your face so this product will definitely last a long time. Works well under makeup. Klorane dry shampoo - Best dry shampoo I've used so far! Cattier creme mains hand creme - Wonderful floral smell. I wish I bought 2 of these. La Roche-Posay - I've always used their face washes. I don't think you can go wrong with this brand if you want to try their other lines and sunscreens. Overall, try not to get too stressed out in the store and don't be afraid to try something new. Once you're finished, make sure you walk over to Pierre Hermé for some amazing pastries and macarons. read more

Citypharma - Pharmacy Near Me - Paris, 75

Good grief. You can find it all there. I mean all. Not just all. But ALL. The only downside is the immense popularity of this place, because it is completely packed, with both locals and tourists scouting out the best bargain prices in all of Paris for skincare, haircare, cosmetics, etc. I had shopped around at other pharmacies looking for T. Leclerc pressed and loose powders, and while I found it at a couple of other places, City-Pharma had the best prices (26 euro for pressed, compared to 34 at another place). They had range of colors in both pressed and loose, and while they don't carry the entire range of T. Leclerc cosmetics (eyeshadow, blush, etc), I didn't care, since I was only looking for the powders. City-Pharma also carries an impressive and dizzying range of skincare products, from Vichy to La Roche Posay to Bioderma to Darphin to Avene to Caudalie to Nuxe to Biafine to Klorane to...well, you get the picture. It is truly overwhelming. For a sunscreen fan like me, this place is heaven, since you can get all the broad spectrum face-friendly sunscreens that are hard to find in the US without paying a ton. I could only take about 20 minutes of being in there, since it was packed with shoppers, but I made out with my aforementioned Leclerc powder, some sunscreens, and some skincare products, not to mention two gorgeous tubes of Marvis toothpaste. This place is totally out of control! In a crazy frantic fun kind of way. It was especially interesting for me, a U.S. Pharmacist, to visit this French Pharmacy where Doctors of Pharmacy also work. At least that is what it said on their white coats but i'm not sure what type of schooling is needed to work in one of these pharmacies. I saw some people filling behind the counter prescriptions but most people were in the store looking for cosmetics and other drug store products. I highly suggest doing your research beforehand to know what you want to look for. If you're just browsing like I was, you will get caught up in the multitude of products, end up pushing your way in and out of different sections for no good reason and probably end up spending too much. I had read a beauty blog a while back and walked out with a few face creams and a retinol eye cream as well as a few chapsticks and a toner. The lady next to me dropped $500 euros (gasp) and her husband behind her had the look of death. I wondered what products she walked away with! If you're into great beauty buys, I highly suggest checking this place out! But don't bring a big backpack and wear closed toes shoes in case you get stepped on! read more

It is so true ALL that they say: - go during weekday mornings because it does get crowded. The crowdedness is annoying because you can no longer think clearly, you're overwhelmed by the number of people, products, price conversions you're trying to make in your head and cell phone, and whether or not you should just buy two or three of the same item, but wait you've never tried it before anyways so maybe just one - buy two or three or even more of one item. You (I) will regret it if you don't. You (I) are not going to find another product like it back home, at least definitely not that cheap, and oh yeah, you (I) should give it as a present to your (my) mom or cousin or friend or co worker. - do your research beforehand. Just google the lists influencers or Pinterest ppl or bloggers make and read what they gave to say, from there you can get an idea - another way to approach research is to get an idea of what you're frustrated with (acne, dandruff, hair loss, dry hands) and read those blogger lists from there - make time for two trips, you (I did not) will not regret it!!! read more

If you're looking for cheap French skin and haircare, look no further! I unfortunately went to a regular pharmacie the day before and realized how much I'd overpaid when I went to CityPharma. They were having major deals on some of the items I'd picked up (Phyto, Caudelie, Klorane) and I was kicking myself for not waiting, even though the regular pharmacies already sell those brands at a considerable discount from American Sephoras or online retailers. I erroneously thought I'd find Kerastase here, which was what I planned on getting but it's still a beauty product addict's paradise. The top floor also has "natural" products like dried gogi berries, which I found interesting. The next time I'm in Paris, I'll be sure to visit Citypharma first! It was an absolute madhouse when we stopped by in the afternoon, so I'd probably come first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. read more

And....Voila! Amazing Place! Was here end of September 2014. Less expensive than anywhere else! It does not matter when you go aisles are always busy with many women shopping. I would purposely go into the most jammed aisle just to hear a French woman tell me, "Pardon, Ex-couz-e-moi", oh its just such a beautiful language to hear being spoken! I purchased several items but not as much as I should have! Bring your list of what you need before you come to this amazing place, otherwise you will feel too overwhelmed and waste precious time trying to remember what you really need and buy things you really don't need. Bring passport if you buy a certain amount I think its over 150 or 175 euros to get the tax free thing...
