I stayed here for a few days while I had business at the hospital in Hamilton. Easy commute into the city due to its proximity to the highway, and yet was far away from the actual roadway that I was pleasantly surprised to hear barely any traffic noise.
The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi kept a steady connection (not fast, but steady) and the TV had ~60 basic cable stations. Due to the weather, I had occasion to use both the heating and the air conditioning, and both worked very well. The bathroom had a small window and an exhaust fan, which works well but was loud enough to wake the dead, so I wouldn't recommend turning on the bathroom light in the middle of the night unless you're by yourself.
The room has a small fridge and a microwave, but no coffee maker. The bathroom has no appliances (hair dryer, etc). There's no lobby, just a check in desk that's not staffed 24/7. There's a self-serve coffee maker (Keurig) available at the desk, but no breakfast or anything.
This isn't a motel that you want to stay at if you like being catered to, as there isn't an abundance of hotel services-- pay attention to what's advertised as offered! Everything that IS advertised is provided excellently, however.
Summary, it's a great place for a no-frills stay. If definitely stay there again. read more
