The "downtown" area of Fort Bragg is quite small, and this City Hall essentially marks the one end of the downtown. For those of you who do not know, downtown is essentially marked by the intermediate regions between E Redwood Ave. and E Laurel St. And the city hall is right next to Laurel. There are still pleanty of green areas and many camping areas not affected by the fire. I go there at least 2 times a month all summer long and have never found a better place to go. I have included some directions below to help you fine the place. It is a vast place. You make the choice when you come to the fork in the road as to which way to go. Left takes you to the dam and the RV camping area. Right takes you all the way across the ridge and to the other side of the lake where there are many camping areas and also a boat ramp. Which is usefull if there is water there. I have included the Ukiah Field Office phone number so you can call to ask if the lake has any water in it. This lake is for fishing only, speedboats will not work here. Enjoy. Take plenty of drinking water along. Located about 27 miles west of Williams or 14 miles east of Clearlake Oaks on Highway 20. Saint Helena is a charming town in Napa Valley with a relaxed vibe and small town feel. The…read morevineyard views in Saint Helena are absolutely stunning. Their is the historic downtown area that is full of boutique shops, wine tasting rooms, cafes, and art galleries. It's a fun place to go sipping and strolling and soak in the charm of this quaint and charming small town. There is no shortage of incredible wineries all around you. Many of them have world class wines. The views at many of the wineries are absolutely stunning as well. The town is known for their culinary scene and have incredible restaurants. Several of the wineries in Saint Helena and nearby offer food and wine pairings as well. One of my favorite restaurants there is Farmstead. If you are the outdoorsy and adventurous type, there is lots of hiking in the area. You can go hiking at Mount Saint Helena and climb to the top or hike around Robert Louis Stevenson State Park. There are just so many reasons to love the charming and beautiful town of Saint Helena in Napa Valley.

I love off-roading and believe you me, there is lots of that available. The Lakeport surrounding area is not a place where young people like to stay when I lived there. I keep going back a few times a year and have just returned from there and saw a lot of different business places which would appeal to the younger generation. So it looks like Lakeport is trying to attract younger people and to keep the ones which grow up there. As for me I still love it.
