This review is from September of 2024. I've been coming here for the last 3 years for my yearly birthday nail set. I usually only do them once a year since they can interfere with my job. I've come for a pedicure or eyebrow wax more often, and every time I''ve been here everyone has been very friendly. They usually greet you right away and can almost always fit you in as a walk-in. I've only ever had to wait more than 15 minutes 1 time. Clean facility and reasonable prices. Today, Phillip did my birthday nails for this year and he did an amazing job. Showed him a photo a couple of weeks ago when I was in for a pedi and booked an appointment to secure my spot. Hands down my favorite nail set, and I'm considering keeping them longer than I usually do. Definitely recommend coming here and highly recommend Phillip for your design needs. Probably the worst manicure I've ever had. These employees are minimally trained, from what I can tell. My manicurist dug into my cuticles so deeply and so quickly that I instinctively pulled away several times. No one should cut cuticles that FAST! I am home now in a bit of pain, sore fingers, and slight bleeding. It will take awhile for my cuticles to recover. They really need some more training. I only gave the extra star because they were pleasant. read more

What a fabulous spa experience I had to day at the City Nails and Spa Salon in la quinta. I was fortunate to have Amy who gave me a beautifully created dip nail treatment with Bling! (See picture below). She was very skillful, worked quickly and was a very interesting and intelligent young lady to chat with. Later she enhanced my eyelashes with very natural and real hair extensions. Jan gave me a lovely and relaxing pedicure. The salon is very calming...but most important it is very clean and fresh. I came to fix one nail that broke as an accident the next day i got my set , they fix it nd re did all my nails polish again. So thankful

While the quality of the pedicure was good except I came home to find out they did not really do the callus removal as they should have as I still have a good amount of dry callus. The customer service that I experienced was saddening. When I told the lady doing my pedicure that the massage machine broke through the chair and caught my hair, she did not care nor did the other ladies around her. My hair is VERY long and that could have been really bad if I had not noticed as fast as I did. After I sat there uncomfortably for a couple minutes, they finally offered me a pillow. While that was nice, the pillows are so fluffy making the rest of the pedicure uncomfortable and unable for me to relax. She offered for me to move chairs when I was done with the pedicure to continue to get a massage since my mom was still getting hers done, but why would I want to turn another one of those machines on. When we went to pay, we informed 2 people who seemed to be in charge this day that the chair was broken and they also didn't care and one says "yes I saw". And while I know they are not required to offer a discount or anything, nothing was offered. Very disappointed with the customer service and lack of sympathy. Won't be going back. read more

Pushy about added services. Even basic was more $$ than quoted at the entry. Pedi was fine. Mani was very rushed. She cut me several times and blamed my cuticles. Considering i am a man and didn't need color or buff it was careless and fast. I did not see her take her nippers out of the standard disinfecting pouch. 10 minute massage was 5 minutes and on a timer. Two of my cuts got infected. I would strongly advise you find a different place to do your nails. Need better service, personality, vibe, health methods, training and Im guessing these operators are not licensed. read more

Nice place but I feel like I was duped. 1st time there and the nail person showed me the pedicures they offer. She pointed to o e for $42 and then they go up in price. Well I paid extra $8 for calleses so $50 plus $1 fee for debt. But I grabbed a brochure to take home and found out there was a classic pedicure for $35!! I learned a lesson, but I won't be going there again. Toes look nice though , clean place. read more
