I was headed to Howard Beach and this was a top Yelp suggestion. There were all kinds of wonderful goodies that made for some great holiday boxes to drop off on my next few stops. What was really nice is that they were decorated in fall colors with fun little Thanksgiving touches. There was a wide variety of chocolate covered Oreos with turkeys, leaves, pilgrims and cornucopia. Graham crackers and Rice Krispies were also dipped and decorated. And, God, I wish I had saved a chocolate and sprinkle-covered Twinkie for myself!! Everything was tucked into unique pink boxes, which helps these treats stand out from the usual bakery fare. Next time I'm going for the chocolate pizzas, cupcakes, and beautifully decorated cakes. The young lady behind the counter was also the baker and she could not have been nicer. She was so helpful! In my ignorance, I did not even check what time they closed - so the fact that they closed at 3 was surprising and a bit early, but that's on me. This goes on and on I even show them a previous receipt that went through with a major balance on the card and no reasonable explanation. Other than that they don't want to use the benefits card. Again they disrespect, and just general, rude attitude would lead me to even say that they're discriminatory towards senior citizens Which is something I've never said before on any of these yelp reviews After the last two experiences here in early December 20 25, I'll not go back.
