This hotel looks, from the outside, as bland as a cereal box but you're going to have a phenomenal night here if you would only just accept the invitation from whoever invited you to go. My dear friend was invited to come here by the Democrats Abroad group and she in turn invited us. There were only four people there when we arrived (and three when we left) but boy, did we have a good time. We sat on the lounges looking out toward the window on a balmy night with our beers and diet cokes (that would be me) in hand and talked the night away. Apparently one of the Sydney Swans guys was here as well but I dont know much about hockey (just joking, I'm not really that bad, really) so wasn't sure which one of the two guys sitting at the bar he was. But that's one of the best things about this place! Theres not that many people who come here so you can actually hear each other! And it was a rocking conversation - a comparison of Australian and American perceived class differences. Who would want to miss that? read more
