But they say they want the best for the child. Homless family here....

I have a court order for child support and they continually brush off my inquiries involving collecting past due support for my son. On one occasion, my child wasn't receiving payments - but his other child was. This was through the same county. One caseworker found his employer, yet my caseworker could not. For months they kept telling me I had to wait. That is their answer for everything. You have to get real ugly before they do anything. My latest case involved my son's deadbeat father collecting worker's comp. I complained to CSEA on numerous occasions for five months and, after right at the fifth month, the father collected a lump sum payment from worker's comp and didn't even have to pay the nearly $6,000 that he owes for my child's support!! Because CSEA's LAZY WORKERS didn't do enough!!! I hope one day someone files a class action lawsuit against them!!!

With the primary election scheduled for a day I would be out of town I decided to vote early. On a…read moreFriday morning, I headed to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections located near downtown. Parking was easy, you enter the free lot off of E.12th. From there it is a short walk to the voting area; there is an area for canvasing by candidates and there supporters during the walk if you want more information. Once inside I was directed down the hall and to the right where they have a large area set up for early voting. When I arrived there was no line and there were a dozen or more stations set up to check in. You present your ID and they confirm you information, then they print out your ballot and you sign to confirm. From there have your choice of voting kiosks where you fill out your ballot and then take it to have it scanned. Overall voting early at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections was convenient, easy and well organized. With the large number of stations set up I would guess that they can handle large crowds, but your experience might vary. A nice job all around and all of the election workers I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

I had a smooth experience here voting early during the midterm elections. I just voted today…read more(Sunday - November 4th 2018) and I'm glad I'll beat the crowds on election day which is Tuesday, November 6th. I got here early at 12:30pm and a line quickly started to form. Voting began at 1pm and I left at 1:30pm because I was taking my time as I voted. You can be in and out within 10 mins if you vote quickly. Right now (1:45pm) there is a long line of people waiting to vote but the process is looking smooth and controlled. The ballots are paper based so when you enter, you will be given a paper ballot along with a form to complete. On the form, you will be asked for your name, address, and either your driver's license number or the last 4 digits of your social security number. I heard that the actual polling locations on election day in your neighbourhood will have electronic ballots. If you plan to vote early then come here to the Board of Elections and vote. The building is clean, safe (security officers are around), and parking is at designated spots. Parking will be tight though if you don't get here early. GO VOTE. It's important. **** This is my 144th Yelp review overall. 98 reviews for 2018. I am aiming for 100 reviews in 2018. Reviewed on 4 November 2018.

This review is for the childcare department only. my daughter was forced to stop going to daycare…read more12/5 with no prior warning to me or the daycare provide. After making a call we were told the daycare voucher had ended even though she had just started daycare in September and vouchers are supposed to be good for one year. I called Monday morning and just received a response Wednesday evening saying my daughter cannot continue going to her home based daycare center and needed to go to an early childcare center instead. My daughter who is 3yrs old and is in school part time cannot go to her daycare anymore. Today 12/11 I received a call at 8am from job and family services saying that they are switching my daughter from part time in school to full time and that she can start going to school full time as of Monday 12/15. I ask them how is this possible and if they will inform the school to let them know of this change, the lady proceeded to tell me that they will make the change. I called Monday the sch to get more information as my daughter has an IEP and no one reached out to contact me about this change. I called the schools principal and she had no idea what I am talking about and said that my daughter is not even old enough to go to school full time. I am fed up, my nonverbal daughter has been the victim in all of this, she loves her home based daycare provider, she's good with her, it's very convenient and close to our home. If you know anything about children with autism they do not like change and that's exactly what's going on a huge change in our lives without any warning to me or the daycare provider whatsoeve. I am a working mother and now that has been negatively impacted because I no longer have a daycare to send my child to. All I want is for my daughter to be back where she belongs with her home based daycare provider
