While it does provide a more than okay golf course, most people (myself included) go to City Golf for the food options they offer. They've got some unique eats, like Frankie's, Tijuana's, and Bugsy's, and while I've been there as late as 3 AM, they never seem to have a full house, even on the weekends.
It's quite a change of scenery from the throngs of Metrowalk, where you'll find throngs of drunken millenials and tito barkadas having their raunchy fun. City Golf is no SM Aura in terms of ambience, but you'll get your fair share of good food and reasonably priced alcohol here. Some people I know choose to pre-game here before heading to a concert at Metrowalk. You'll mostly find employees here from nearby Ortigas winding down or college students having their fill of wings and buckets, so it's a great place to bring your friends to.
Additionally, it's an okay compromise for when your north (QC)/south (Alabang) friends want to meet somewhere in the middle! read more
