The guac was very fresh and the nachos were cheesy and delicious then for entrees we tried different tacos from al pastor to carne asada. All the tacos were packed with flavor and were also very good. For dessert I got the cheesecake while my friend got the corncake. Both were but but nothing to write home about. This is just a glimpse into how far behind I am with my reviews. I visited Barcelona at the…read morebeginning of this year. Actually, I was there in December and rang in 2023 there. Anyway ... Visiting other countries, when possible, I like to try chains to experience the regional items that aren't offered at home. So, one morning, my friend and I took a walk out towards the beach to the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to. And I've been to more than I can count all around the world. I know this is funny to hear considering I really don't eat fast food. So, now you know more about me. The location is right across the beach. It's so close you can see the sand and water. If the waves were crashing on the shore, you'd hear it too. There's both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy the scenery if you like. And there's enough seating on two levels that you could be there and still feel like you're eating there alone. Not only was this the nicest and cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to, the service was top-notch. You can order on kiosks or in person. And I can't speak for every day, but the day my friend and I visited, there was an English speaking person there who made ordering for me a breeze. Even the staff who didn't speak English was friendly, helpful and patient. Food was made and served fresh and quick. Here's where I'd be telling you to go see my pics but I guess I didn't post them on Yelp. You'd have to go to my other social media site to find them. I feel the food was standard though it's hard for me to say because I don't eat McDonald's regularly enough to be able to give a fair comparison. I can say, it was good enough that I ate it all. And bonus, I didn't get sick. Now, we walked there so I didn't look for parking but I did see a drive thru. And as far as whether I'd go back, though it was a positive review, I have to say no because I've already been there and done that.

Second, it's extremely clean and has new furnishings. The food is fine. I mean it's fast food though they do have some regional items. On my visit they had different flavor french fries (you basically buy the seasonings and shake it with the fries) as well as dessert McFlurry items. In the US they also have kiosks for ordering but not many customers use them, like me they head to the counter. In Europe, is seems ordering by kiosks is required, and that was the case at this McDonald's. Not that it was very difficult, but it did take the two of us a few minutes to muddle through.
