Searching around the internet for good Thai food, I stumbled upon Citron Vert. I am very thankful that I did!
In terms of the restaurant itself, it's pretty classy with some nice decor. Not the biggest restaurant by any means so it can only fit a handful of people. They do take online reservations which is nice since I came with a group of 8. Only complaint is where you enter into the restaurant isn't the nicest part of the restaurant, they could have a nicer host area.
For the food, it was excellent. We got a variety of dishes and everything was good, presentation included. The noodles could have used more sauce/flavor but was very authentic in its taste. Portions were decent for a Thai restaurant, and prices are around 15 euros per dish. Drinks are not too expensive either, can get wine and a beer starting at about 3-5 euros and going up from there.
The service here was nothing extraordinary so that's why I marked it down a star. They forgot our appetizer as they apparently forgot to even put it in the system. Didn't really apologize for it or offer to take it off the bill. They brought it after we were half way through our food and we still had to pay for it. Luckily the appetizer was good or I would have been upset about that.
Worth a shot to check out, a lot of other restaurants and shops nearby as well. read more
