Disorganized. Unprofessional . Careless…read more I was referred to Stephanie by another wedding planner who does larger budget weddings. She suggested that I contact Stephanie a.k.a. "The B Team" for our wedding. When I contacted Stephanie she sounded sweet and she seemed to understand just what I wanted: bridal, romantic, traditional. This is my first and only wedding and it seemed like things were going to go well with Stephanie. Initially, her fee was low but at two critical moments in the wedding planning Stephanie called me demanding that I give her more money so that she can complete the negotiations. It was always a crisis, and she needed money within 24 hours, or my wedding planning would not be complete. I found out later that these vendors asked to speak with me directly and Stephanie refused to give them my contact information. She told me that she was the only one who could negotiate these deals and that I needed to pay her more for it...twice! Stephanie charged us almost $4,000 for our flowers, and ordered the wrong centerpieces!!! Stephanie did not have the courage to come tell me about her mistake, instead I walked in to my wedding reception and found thousands of dollars in flowers that I didn't order. I have been informed that this large Phoenix based florist will no longer be working with Stephanie in the future due to her disorganization, and lack of professionalism. Stephanie was responsible for handing out corsages and boutonnieres to important members of my family, she had a list of these people emailed to her weeks before the wedding. Instead of checking the list on the wedding day she simply gave them to the wrong people and let me know, "oh well, I just gave it to so-and-so". Oh well?! Stephanie also ruined our guest book, charged us for a headpiece for the flower girl that she never gave to the flower girl ... I can go on and on. What is the point of having a wedding planner if they are going to make these kinds of mistakes? I won't go in to the lack of integrity that she has in negotiating her fee, I will mention that one of her vendors called her "shady". This means that if you choose to work with Stephanie, some of the best vendors will not be available to you because they will not work with her. Buyer beware!!

Some specific examples: 1) Customer service is high-priority! I never had to wait more than a few hours for a reply to an email or phone message, and a definite time was offered if Andre was unavailable at the time he answered. 2) Andre has many years of experience doing all kinds of events. His objective is to make the event exactly what the customer hopes it will be. He doesn't interfere with the planning, but if asked for assistance, makes excellent suggestions. I attended the nuptials of a lovely bride and groom on April 3rd, 2026 in Chino Hills and Djsergiogee started the ceremony with "the bride and groom paid a lot of money for the photographer, so we don't want to see any phones in the air," apparently DJ Sergio G must have been the financial advisor for the wedding because he wouldn't stop talking about money! Master of Ceremony Skills: negative 10 out of 5 After the ceremony, he continued setting up his equipment, well after guests filled the ballroom. We watched as he taped up the cables and set up a 4' white screen to hide his equipment. Then he made an announcement... he welcomed guests to approach his booth to make song requests, but he cautioned us to not "touch or lean on the screen" because he had a guest at another event who broke it and it was "very expensive." Even told us that it was $900. Then he called our attention to the doors behind him, pointed out that they were blocked from the other side to deter use of the doors unintentionally, (which was obvious) but then continued to tell us not to go behind the booth to use those doors, and what ramifications we might experience if we tried. Then he began to release us to eat, but again, warned us to be "polite" to the servers and to not "rush them" because they worked really hard to cook for us. Then he reminded all of is that he too worked really hard, because he had to "get there early to set up." The guests were comprised of civilized human beings who follow social norms and etiquette. Nothing warranted his tone or demeanor towards us. DJ Skills: 1 out of 5 For the majority of the night, he let his Spotify list play automatically as he walked around socializing with guests and bragging about his other job as a "master technician for Subaru" where he makes "$150,000 a year" and he "knows his worth" and that's why he doesn't take "a bunch of little $500 jobs," instead, he's "worth $2000 per job." Then he noticed that tables started dismissing themselves for dinner, so he vowed to "call them out" for it. Every time he handed the mic over for someone to speak, he had to do a mic check. Every. Time. At the end of the night, when he was stationed in his booth, he began deejaying. He danced and pumped his fist in the air to the beat of the music... just in time to showboat to a potential client whom he invited to watch him at this private event. He announced that the bride and groom like techno but then only played 3 techno songs. So if you want a DJ who treats your guests like they need to be taught manners, has no charisma or mic presence, is hyper-fixated about money, and has a need for public retaliation when people don't follow his instructions, then DJ Sergio G is the one for you!
