I have a good relationship manager whom I meet with from time to time on financial matters. That's really all I can say on the plus side. On the negative side they pay very little interest. They charge you ridiculous fees when you are cashing in on IRAs or their investment accounts. I'm not referring to premature cashing when I refer to these areas. I really feel one is entitled to all of their own money when the situation arises but they don't do that. Again, however, they come in handy when I do travel because with their help I am usually able to find a branch in another state. My real rating would be 2/1/2 stars but I normally round up.

Because of Northwest's personal attention, they are aware of and helpful if I have been struggling and occasionally missed payments. They have helped me change billing dates so that I would be more sure there would be money in my account when auto pay bills arrived. Before giving up on a Bank that is focused on this area, and the people here, and which does not sell our mortgages to Wall St robots, (which then come and throw people out of their homes even when their mortgages are paid up and in order), I suggest if anyone is unhappy with a service or has an issue with Northwest, go talk with the branch manager, before giving up a community invested service like Northwest. NB: I am not, nor is anyone in my family, employed by Northwest Bank. I am just one satisfied customer.

So say like you set up an automatic payment for like you're car And you're insurance That's almost 600.00 all together But you run short because you already got money orders to make the payments and the automatic withdrawals havent stopped yet Well for each time a 35.00 overdraft fee goes to you're account that's 70.00 you're negative and the next 2 days go by the company tries it again but the bank declined it over and over while charging you 35.00 each time We put more money into this banks pockets then they actually earn. It is always best to have the money in the account of course but not always something that can happen when you get less then what the bank takes and keeps you in the hole each and every month It it's up to you if you want to pay a bank 35.00 for fees on items that dont get paid on or be smart read the fine print go to a bank that dont do this to people I know I'm going to be smart and move my money way away from gold pocket filled greedy people......

I thought business lines were intended to be used for conducting business during business hours. This is very inconvenient and not a way to conduct BUSINESS!

I'm not familiar with this area so I did a quick Yelp search and found the nearest bank. I made sure that I opted for drive thru service when I looked it up. However, this location did not have a drive thru ATM. Drive thru, yes, drive thru ATM, no. In order to use the ATM at this location you have to park your car and get out to walk to the ATM. It wouldn't be that bad if there were parking spots right in front of the building, but guess what, it's like a plaza, so you park away from the building. At night, it's not the best feeling walking to the ATM. Especially since nothing else in the plaza is open, it is completely blatant what you are about to do. It serves the purpose, but maybe not the best location to stop to do some late night banking like I always do.

Therefore I had to call my old agent, Contemporary, and cancel. Previously I've never really dealt directly with them as I used the website and always could call the insurance company's number. After about 2 weeks of calling and never getting through and not receiving a call back I finally was able to get the agent's attention through email. I simply asked what date the date I should make my cancelation effective as I would rather not continue to make another payment and then have to receive a refund. I was told he was unable to tell me and that I should call the insurance company. I had already spoken to the insurnace company twice and they said I would have to speak with him. He also responded rudely that I should ensure I could even get insurance because I've had an accident and a DUI and that I shouldn't worry about a few bucks. I had previously explained to him that I had moved and the insurance I had was not valid for FL. The whole time this was all through email and he was very rude and completly unhelpful. I would never have thought of dropping insurance except that I moved out of state. I do not understand why I had to go through so many hoops and be treated so incredibly rude to cancel my policy with him. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this Agency.

With it being as late at night as it was I didn't have to worry about anyone behind me. I filled out my info on the back and started my transaction. I am glad that is one of the newer ATMs out there where you do not need an envelope and that it gives you the option of whether you want the receipt that you are going to throw away later or not. All in all I would definitely come back here in the future if need be as it went as smoothly as I could expect.
