The first time I called WestAirComm, they said they'd remove my information. Months later I'm still receiving junk mail. Today I call and am told * I * have to do the legwork to remove my address from TruStage. I call TruStage to be removed from their junk mailing list and the rep keeps asking me for birthdate and SSN on my policy. I don't have a policy!! I told them my birthdate it isn't necessary to stop mail coming to my home. In this day and age it's not wise to give out personal info to companies you don't have a business relationship with. Additionally, the West AirComm website is not up to modern standards. I've had wonderful experiences with other credit unions but this one is a joke.

The branch I visit the most is in my shopping center in the event I need to run in there for something special. Perhaps the main reason why I like Dollar Bank so much is the way they handle auto bill pay on their internet banking. Once I authorize a transaction I can set the date for the funds withdrawal and the system lets you know when the vendor is expected to receive the money I approved. That helps me to insure my bills are paid on time and the money is withdrawn from whatever account I selected timely. The staff is very warm and friendly. Dollar Bank is an All Point participant which means if you see that logo on any banking machine then you would be spared the fees associated with using a non Dollar Bank ATM. Dollar Bank has many locations in the city and extends as far as Cleveland, Ohio. I've been happy with their services until now and hope to continue to use them as my bank of choice in all my future plans.

The teller told me that they are only notarizing documents pertaining to their bank's documents. I am upset as it wasn't what it was stated on their bank's website . The notary service may be 'free' but it is only for their bank's related documents and none other. So , don't waste your time and gas to go to any branches to get notary done.

Like most banks you can "deposit" your check remotely by taking an image of both the front and back. Their ATMs are free at all places noted by "Allpoint" whenever you are traveling. They offer free checking. I have received very good customer service each time I visit but the best thing I like is how their online banking works. Once you set it up and link your account you can add merchants from either a drop-down menu or "add your own" if you don't see one listed. You can also pay a person. When the merchant is added it will show you the number of days the amount you specify paid will be deposited in that merchant's account. The money is normally withdrawn immediately unless you schedule a future payment. The vendor will still get it in the time-frame specified. If they need to cut a bank check then the process is a little longer. The best part I like is that if the merchant fails to receive your payment by the guarantee due date and if it coincides with your payment due date then the bank will take responsibility for it after an investigation. Like most banks they offer credit cards as well as debit and their interest rate is not the greatest but that is to be expected. They now offer "Apple pay" if you are tech savvy and wish to use your IPhone with a certified vendor. They do have a "funds availability" once you deposit a check. So please don't think the entire amount is immediately available. Check with the bank on this matter. They only time funds are immediately available is when you are making a cash deposit. I've been relieved of having to worry about sending large sums of money though the mail when the occasion arises through this system.
