Went to register, found everything locked, parking spaces non existant, parking restrictions everywhere, yet loads of parking for library users! Basically it was splat in the middle of what looks like an estate, flats everywhere. Hazlemere surgery have a less fancy website, but is closer to my home, ample parking on a residential road as well as some bays front of surgery. There is disabled access, small cosy waiting area and there are 3 levels. I was welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who assured me she would register me that very same day, usually it takes a week! I urgently needed a repeat prescription. I was allocated to a diabetic specialist doctor and I got an appointment the very next day. Besides the prescription I had developed pneumonia in the interim,and the friendly competent Spanish doctor immediately prescribed what i needed to ease the asthma and another antibiotic. He was running late and I had to wait for half an hour, but he apologised and he didn't rush me. All in all, I am very happy with my new surgery.....I've not had much luck with the 2 last ones!

They left the doors…read morelaying on the floor and piled up all over the place, preventing us moving back into the rooms. The doors are too heavy for me to move myself so I am stuck now. I work from home so being unable to use my office is a huge problem for me. Ian at CMS claimed it was because they are supposedly "not insured" to work with doors. We found this out only after the installation -- at no point before were we prepared for any problems with the doors, despite an on-site survey/measure up and two lengthy consultations in the store where we were walked through (supposedly) every aspect of the installation. We paid a great sum of money for an comprehensive installation service and have been left to go on Google scrabbling around for a handyman to fix their mess. Manager did not even do the courtesy of apologising and delegated it to the front desk lackey. Not good. I advise you all to use CarpetRight instead, because they *do* offer a complete service, including door trimming and re-fitting.

The ranges include everything from cheap flooring to top of the range wool carpets. Some of the carpets are available from stock but the majority are ordered in. Room sized remnants are available. Staff are very helpful and offer good advice. It's possible to borrow samples to view at home, without charge and for as long as you like. They also offer a service whereby samples will be brought round to your house so that you can take a pick from a wider range in situ. Measuring services are available. Fittings that we have had done have been good. Fitters have turned up on time and been neat and tidy in their work. You can't negotiate much on price but charges for fitting etc seem to be reasonable. There are regular sales but don't expect too many big discounts. The shop also stock a small range of beds although this doesn't seem to be key business. Recommended.

This company now has many stores that offer the same goods in the south so one outlet wouldn't be too far away. The way it works is that you call them up, they come round and give you the quote with they stress the ACTUAL amount you will pay, then you decide if you want them to do it. Simples! The website is very interesting as there is much information on there about the company and also information on how to keep your upholstery looking good so that you don't have to get them round as quick.
