    This feels like "just another Wells Fargo branch," but they do all the little things right…read more First, this is a low-traffic location despite sharing a parking lot with Habit, Chipotle, and Walgreens. It's also in a quiet, safe neighborhood and near El Segundo business campuses and buildings, so the average clientele is nice and well-behaved. While there are some younger tellers here, they are friendly and not judgmental when you need to make a transaction for a more significant than usual amount, such as withdrawing or depositing several thousand dollars in cash. The ATMs are never busy, and the parking lot in front of them is well-lit. Plus, there is always foot traffic to and from Habit and Chipotle, so you never feel isolated when using the ATM. Pros: * Friendly and welcoming staff with immediate greetings and helpful guidance. * Efficient service with minimal wait time despite a busy branch. * Knowledgeable employees, even with younger staff. And so I asked if I could open an account to deposit the check and she stated it would take over an hour to open an account. I was able to open an account on the website in less than 3 minutes, deposit the check right away. This level of poor integrity is unacceptable. Would never want to come to this place again.

    I was in the area for Breakfast. I was planning on having Breakfast at a CASH ONLY place (Wendy's)…read more Once I arrived I realized that I did not have cash in my pocket. I figured no worries there is a Bank right across the street. I have seen this Bank 100's of times but never stopped, come to think of it I have never really seen anyone go inside. I pulled out my ATM Card to withdraw maybe $40 and I was hit with a $3.00 service charge. The ATM looked like I just stepped out of a DeLorean after hitting a speed of 1.21 gigawatts. I was lucky this machine even worked. I despise greed & this business just made my list of places I would not pee on if they were on fire. I know that is harsh but when this business fails they will probably eventfully asks themselves what they could of done differently and not being so greedy will probably never make the list and that is sad. I will make sure I have money next time around. I will also make sure if I hear someone talking about having to hit up the ATM that I tell them the service charge that is going to be associated with their transaction and hopefully change their mind in giving this place one cent of business.

One of them anyway. :) Gardena branch on western are a nice team over there too when I have to run errands at times but it's this Manhattan Beach in Manhattan Village that is my certain kind of people customer service branch. The customer service here has been the most pleasant always with my top fav bankers, Carina, John, and Karen. The rest are good too. But the 3 mentioned stand out to me every time I get over here. They not only assist me every time in happily positive ways but are consistently great with our interesting random chats each time I drop by. Im an otrovert. Chatting with the 3 while they assist me with my bank request is always a good experience with each of the 3 bank team members. They are such genuinely charming people. LOVE THEM. I really do. I hope they get promoted, raises in this branch, and get to stay here forever as I enjoy time with them here when I drop by in and out kind of often. Thankful not only for this branch to be here but for the 3 mentioned that are dear to me. Thank You, Carina, John, and Karen! You 3 really make banking with US bank the more delightful! You trio are totally my kind of good vibes people and sweet Carina totally has same trendy fashion and jewelry taste as me haha. :-D Love it!     I have never reviewed a bank before, but felt that I needed to convey my experience with Bank of…read moreManhattan. Specifically, with regard their mortgage division. In the past 5 years, I had refinanced twice in order to take advantage of the plummeting interest rates. I had used Todd Fite from Coast Capital in Hermosa Beach and always had a great experience. With rates incredibly low these days, I decided to explore a refinance. So I called Todd only to find out that they had merged with Bank of Manhattan. Honestly, I was concerned that the low rates and great customer service that I had been accustomed to receiving would have disappeared with the merger. Todd assured me that my experience would be the same if not better than before. Boy was he right! I had never had a complaint with Coast Capitol as their service, rates, and Todd were top notch. I can only describe my experience as flawless. Let me explain why: The application process was painless, fast and started on a Thursday. As always, Todd quickly prepared everything and provided a small but typical list of docs he needed. We locked in an awesome rate with absolutely NO Fees! Also, they create online access so you can see exactly what's going on with your loan and even submit docs (if necessary) 24/7! The next day, I was contacted by the appraiser and we scheduled the appraisal for the following Tuesday. By the following Friday, I was contacted by a very professional and kind Bank of Manhattan loan processor, Hilda. She advised that I received total loan approval! I asked Hilda if this was really a full loan approval or that "things were going really well." She confirmed that the loan had officially been approved! I had to contact Todd because I have NEVER had any loan move this quickly. Todd also confirmed the approval and explained that since they handle everything including in-house funding, the efficiency, communication, and promptness has only gotten better. Here is the best part of this refi. I was reviewing the good faith estimate and noticed that my interest rate dropped an eighth! I called Todd, who advised that rates had actually dropped since we locked and he was able to renegotiate the interest rate WITHOUT any additional fees!! Okay, so plain and simple. Bank of Manhattan and Todd Fite ROCK!! All the benefits of a big bank with that small town personal service that you normally don't get from large financial institutions... I tried to set up the direct payment since the first billing statement came in back in May 2013. It never happened. So then I resubmitted it in October and was under the impression that it was finally taken care of. It was not and they sent me to COLLECTIONS over a 10 day late payment, which I never received a statement, notice, phone call till it was too late. I had never made a late payment before so I would have thought that some warning would have been set in place. Also their "call center" is some company outside of the US, and they have really thick accents which makes it even more difficult and annoying to have to work through any issues. It is December and once again, I did not receive a statement?! I don't understand where the disconnect is, and I have called twice this month to speak with the loan department and cannot reach anyone on the phone. I pay my bills on time. My credit is stellar. I do not want to jeopardize it because a company can't figure out how to set up a program that they OFFER to their "customers".
