This is not a typical topic i would review on Yelp, but this is ALL about the Customer Service. For the Citibank at Wilshire and Westwood, it is one of the busier intersections, BUT the staff has the kind of interpersonal skills that they turn the big city into a small town. How is that even possible? This is due to the excellence of: Kevin, Erica, Iris, Caleb, and a few other faces i see but don't know names. They provide sure kind, caring interactions. They don't merely do their job, they adopt you (if only they paid for college too). To exude this kindness AND be in a cold, corporate environment is no easy feat. But, do bring your feet over there for the kindness that all of us deserve! Thank you Citibank for providing this excellent group of workers together. read more

So much better! Long overdue update to this place, but I am so much happier that for the last couple years things seem 1000% better. Customer service is great, there are enough tellers, too, who are personable and professional. I have meant to update this review for awhile because it's really become a much more inviting place. Though I typically do not review branches or chains, I do think it's important to recognize when the experience of a business is noticeably good or not. It's good here. Part of what makes this branch so good is that there are faces here of people who have been at this branch for a few years now. So, it makes it easier to know that they belong here which translate into a familiarity that gets passed to the customer. I think the people who work here make all the difference. read more

Regarding: Citi Bank Double Cash Credit Card. No concern for customer relations. Had rewards credited to account in May, about $75. Rewards dept. told me my balance would be x amount due 1st of June. Paid amt. due but received a past due amt. Called and was told rewards dept gave me wrong information, as I did not pay min. amt due so had a past due amt of less than $6. They are now declining any charges I make. How embarrassing! For a small amt: less than $6 past due! I have charged and paid thousands of dollars thru the years. When I asked why, I was told it was procedural. It will take awhile to clean up this mess, as I have auto charges thru this card. Once that's completed, I'll cancel my card. Too many options out there to use or stay with them. read more

I only wish they had a 0 star. I have been a member for 20+ years and have never been treated so poorly by any bank, specifically the branch manager. I simply wanted to add her to my account. After my third time coming in to resolve the seemingly simple issue, I was legitimately irritated. I kept my calm and escalated the issue to the branch manager who advised: 1) I should have called to make an appointment my third time 2) both sides had a miscommunication (might I add at my second attempt I advised I was willing to stay as long as it took, but I just kindly asked to not come back for a third time) 3) despite being a priority member, I was advised to go to another location. *at the much kinder branch on Pico, the banker had the SAME PROBLEMS including horribly poor attitude with the branch manager at the Westwoood/Wilshire location. Citibank could be declining but I am optimistic to obtain some form of resolve in the near future. read more

[Review #15] Convenient alternative since it's close to work (next door). Sometimes there's a short line for the ATM so I run in & conduct my transactions with a teller. During my previous visit, I wanted some info/brochure on their 529 plan. I was informed that I need to speak with their investment advisors & they're available by appointment only. :-| I just want a brochure. Shouldn't you have these marketing materials on hand like your other products? In any event, I signed up with Charles Schwab. My accountant said it's better to invest with a brokerage than bank. But I still like you for my basic banking needs. :-) read more

My mother in law and husband on 7/9/2020 went to this bank to cash a check written from a Citi account The teller was incredibly rude, said she wouldn't cash it, and told my husband he had an attitude when he asked to to look if it was an valid check. She wouldn't even look at the check. When my husband was told the bank manager wasn't in and their was no one to help him they drove down to the Citi bank in WEHO and were helped with kindness. Do not go to this bank as they do not want to do their jobs and they find it amusing to be rude. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would I came here before and spoke with an African American women who looked to be in her early 30s and she allowed to cash my check and today I came and she would absolutely not let me cash anything even though I came in with the same ID and documentation as last time. While I was explaining this to her she kept rudely interrupting me and almost yelling that she didn't allow it last time. Unbeknown to me the manager was siting next to her while her employee is acting so rudely. When I asked for the manager, she spoke to us and the rude employee still kept cutting me off while I was talking. Mind you I was not even talking to her at this point but to the manager. When I pointed this out she begins laughing. At this point everything is just so rude. She even told the manager to get me away from her table to continue talking. Throughout my whole interaction with the manager, the lady could still be heard laughing. The establishment run here is ran in a rude and unprofessional manner. To have an employee laugh at you and profusely cut off your words is just so unprofessional. read more

I've been a member of Citibank for a while now, and initially joined because you can practically find them everywhere. So glad they opened this on the south side of Wilshire so I don't have to walk all the way to the one in Westwood Village. Had to run in to make a deposit and get some cash on Super Bowl Sunday before the game. It was quiet, but the lobby/vestibule with the ATMs was clean, and secure. Felt safe getting my money. Absolutely beautiful branch that is convenient to go to and provides great service. What I love the most is that I never have to wait in line and if i do, it is very short. The tellers know what they are doing and don't take long to complete a transaction. I got my mortgage loan through Citibank and got the best rate out there and I even got my business line of credit through Kevin, who worked hard and was professional every step of the way. I even got a Citi Double Cash credit card which was far better than my Chase freedom in terms of rewards. I never thought I would go through one bank for everything I need, but with service and rates like they gave me, I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. read more

This is a fairly new swanky Citibank branch at the bottom of a high rise office building. Most of the time, the branch seems to be fairly empty with maybe 1 other person speaking with the tellers. The employees are very service oriented and polished. You kind of feel like a VIP going in to make a transaction! I'm not sure what the parking situation is because I can easily walk to the location.
