I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Channel from Citibank #38789 for the kindness and support she showed my family during a very difficult time. When we were struggling and worried about providing for our children, Channel took the time to listen, understand our situation, and help us with compassion and professionalism. Her patience and caring attitude meant so much to us when we needed it most. Thank you, Channel, for treating us with respect and for making a difficult moment a little easier. We truly appreciate everything you did for our family. read more

This bank is generally not as busy as the Citi Bank on Rendondo Bch Blvd. They also have a drive up ATM here which makes it convenient. It's a bit further to drive but over all it saves me time with less of a waiting time especially whe. You have to go inside. read more

I went into this branch on a whim because I was out of my usual city trying to purchase a car. The other branch before in Lomita put a hold or froze my accounts and fraud department seized them, but thankfully I met their employee Maurice Alonso. I explained the situation to him and he was on top of it right away. He was very polite, helpful and just overall great at what he does. It's rare to come across great employees that love what they do and do it well. Me and my children are so grateful to him for literally saving the day along with some assistance from his wonderful manager. I wished I remembered her name but it was a woman and they both deserve the praise. Thank you so much ! read more

* The supervisor named Tay was very professional with highly cultivated softskills & the pedigree of a highly skilled manager. * She immediately understood the issue & was quick to recommend a solution & the next steps. * She was very patient, remarkably efficient & uncommonly skilled. * As a management person she was extremely effective. read more

I was not treated as a customer. This employees are racist and don't care about my needs. It was a Citibank check that needed to cashed. Instead I was forced to open a checking account and my check after 7 days has not cleared. Hani the branch manager was notified and didn't return our calls.he always claim to be in a meeting. Fabiola his area manager was also notified and has not returned our call. Mind you this is a Citibank check. They made me feel like a criminal with no mask on to cash one of their own check. When I called customer service. I got people from other countries to try to help but they couldn't speak good English and one told me that Gardena didn't have any Citibanks . another asked me to spell Torrance and other words. I was hanged up by customer service reps and supervisors. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - 67/100. I couldn't have come through at a better time. It was the 1st of the month mid-afternoon. Yet the parking lot is empty. I walked in and I was the sole customer in the entire office space. There were only 2 tellers assigned at the moment, so one of them called me even before I got close to the "line" section. And she must have read my mind because she said, "It's the 1st? And no line?! You came at a great time!" I told her it's almost like being in an even more bizarre episode of the Twilight Zone. They both let out a good hearty laugh. That's cool, I like workers with a sense of humor. Really, I came in to make a simple payment, so, I was I was out of there in less than 30 seconds. TIP: They have a drive thru ATM, if that's your thing. This is the 3rd Citibank branch I've been to in the past three months. I gotta say they've been really consistent with customer service. It feels good having them handling my business. I'd most likely return. read more

First of all BIG THANKS TO REJIN MEDINA for being awesome. Not only did she retrieve my forgotten debit card from the ATM (which my Dumb@$$ left) but she also called me and informed me about it. She held it but I was busy and they had to destroy it. So when I was ready to pick it up she said no worries a brand new will be issue tomorrow asap. And yes FedEx brought it ASAP the very next day. Thank you REJIN MEDINA awesome customer service. read more

I've gone to other banks in the area, and this location is a smaller branch but has a great "neighborhood bank" feel. I like using ATMs everywhere, but once in a while I need to talk to a real person, and I wait until I can make it to this particular branch to address the issue. They first helped me with some problems with an account that was established at a different Citibank branch, and over the years this has become my "go to" branch. It is typically a calm, low-stress atmosphere and I get my questions answered and business taken care of. What more can you ask. read more

I was at this Citibank yesterday because I was having issues logging into my account. I was able get my problem resolved by Lourdes!!! She is amazing! She was very patient, kind, understanding and was able to help me in getting my account reactivated again. Sometimes, when you go in with problems, not everyone is excited to help! But Lourdes made an impression that she loves what she does and does her best in helping her customers. You are amazing Lourdes! read more

Citibank in Gardena, ca. 185th & Western. Horrible service!! Friday afternoon with only 2 tellers. Waited in a long line only to be told that to access my checking plus account that I'd have to go outside to the atm machine, withdraw funds, and then get back in line to make change. Back in the day... The ppl at the desks used to help the line instead of sitting on there doing nothing. So basically... I'm paying for a service that charges ridiculous fees on so that I can be told to go outside and use the atm. Ridiculous ! I'm going to post on every social media site to Avoid this location!!! They obviously don't need my business.. Time to move on!! What's sad is I've been banking with them for over 20 years!! Oh well... Their loss; and their competitors gain read more

Used to be a great drive-thru ATM. But on and off - for the past month, the drive-thru ATM hasn't been working. :(

Having to come back into the branch to get the bonuses for opening the accounts is somewhat of a buzz kill

Been banking here forever! Why didn't I think of checking in here before? Is that even done ..checking in from the bank? Anyway.... They're so friendly and im in and out in a blink of an eye. Plus - they open Sat til 1pm. Thank You, Citibank read more

I'm amazed at how inefficient this bank runs. When I got there they had two tellers working with 15 people in line. Then one had to leave. Leaving just the one. What ever happened to customer service? Nobody wants to spend their whole day waiting in line. read more

Horrible service, it's better to go to a small bank or a credit union. I had fraud on my account and five weeks later my new account wasn't opened yet. Horrible just horrible. read more

Waited ten mins in line for a two minute transaction. Only one window open when there were 5+ customers in line.

I'm giving this 0 stars. I went to the bank to open up an account. I was not greeted by anyone. There were 2 people in line and 1 teller with someone else helping the teller. There was a lady sitting at one of the outside desks waiting on who was helping her. There are now 2 ladies in the teller area but they are doing their own thing and then there is a guy in the Citi Business. He is sitting at his desk doing who knows what. We are waiting and waiting. Another person walks in and now 3 people in line and 1 person at the teller. Wait and wait. I finally ask a couple of guys in the line if this always happens. They said pretty much. Citi Bank just lost my business. Was not impressed. Plus parking lot is small and to get out of there on a busy street with no signal is a big no. I'll go somewhere else. read more

So, I'm waiting in line for 15 minutes when the branch manager asks if anyone has a straight deposit. Well I did, so he says follow me. We went into his office and he takes my check. Grabs a deposit slip and "hand writes" the amount for the deposit and says, "here you go". I replied with, "that's it"? He says yes. I then stated I want to make sure that there won't be a hold on the check before I leave. He assured me that there wouldn't be and if fire stone reason there is he will override it and make sure the funds are available. So I think OK, this is better than waiting in line. So I check my balance and sure enough, there's a fucking hold on the funds. I deposited almost 2000 dollars, mind you this is a payroll check that I've deposited every 2 weeks for the past 10 years! They only made 400 dollars available. Are you fucking serious? They're putting a hold on 1600 for 3-5 business days. This is how you treat a customer that's been with your financial institution for over 12 years? I immediately tried calling the branch and not to my surprise they did not pick up. It wouldn't even allow it to ring. Just said that they were closed and asked if I wanted to be transfered to their customer service line. I was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes with no resolution to this problem. Fuck citibank! I think it's time to change banks and go with a credit union! read more
