Very disappointed in Chase and Chase auto. Have been a long time customer of Chase and loved the…read morebank. Hours are convenient and branches are plentiful. I believed their customer service promises and believed they stood behind their words. However, when I needed Chase to honor their philosophy they sadly disappointed. Of most concern is that a Chase to Chase transfer of money from buyer of vehicle to seller of vehicle done directly was approved and unbelievably one week later I was notified the " funds were rejected" By the time this happened Chase Auto had released the car Title , signed and sent a lien release, zeroed out the loan balance AND send a letter from Chase bank AND Chase auto thanking me for my business and inviting me to use Chase in the future. As the buyer of the car drove across country with their new car and title I was informed that the loan was not satisfied and I was again liable for the full amount Believing in my heart that Chase had made a horrible mistake and would admit to their error and make me whole , INSTEAD I was told repeatedly that the car title was released in " Good Faith" incidentally this good faith excuse was used by multiple Chase representatives !!! Chase continued to insist it was my problem and until this day I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Even when my complaint reached the supervisory level - they remained insistent that car titles are released " in good faith that the payment will come through". Whoever heard of a car title being released by a bank holding a loan on good faith??? The answer is NEVER. My Chase days are now over and I fully intend to continue to tell everyone I can that they should not trust Chase Auto. Mistakes happen - that is forgivable - however the lack of concern or ability to right this wrong shocks me Stay away from Chase Auto - sadly that's the best advice and best review I can give. Attempts to enlist the help of my branch manager were largely ignored as well . The Assistant Branch Manager tried to help me but was equally powerless - so I should definitely point out that she tried to rectify the situation but was unable to help .

The service was good when I dropped by, but the downside is that there's only one ATM at the entrance of the bank. Hm... why only one? Is there a drive through? That's what I couldnt really understand. Aside from that, the AC in here is awesome. And there's a baskin robins/ dunkin donuts next door. Stop by!

They didnt bother me about starting more and different accounts and they were very nice. I think this is a great branch and it's good to see that it's newer and isnt as hidden as the chase up the street, in riverside.

For example (and there are many), I called loan services to get a copy of my mortgage statement. They insisted I'm getting one by mail which when I said I didn't, the customer service obviously didn't believe me and told me to go check with my post office. Turns out after I called again and the agent was willing to figure it out...I was NOT getting a statement because I was over-paying my mortgage and therefore was not "owing" anything. Thanks Stephan at Peoples who was condescending and should never work in customer service - at least someone there was willing to figure it out. After that - I asked how I can get a statement even though I overpay my mortgage which I was told that I had to call back to get a supervisor. When I asked for a supervisor's name, they said they couldn't give me one or a direct line....so what, I have to call back and talk to Stephan again? Kill me - gonna close accounts as soon as I can

The loan officer there, who was leaving to work at The First Bank of Greenwich, convinced me to apply with them instead. He promised to personally introduce me to the bank manager and a VP, which he did. At The First Bank of Greenwich, the VP required me to deposit $100K into an account in order to receive a $100K "secured" loan. Both the VP and the manager assured me that, within two weeks, this would be converted into a standard loan. That turned out to be a complete lie. Instead, they held onto my $100K for two months, during which I had no access to it, and ultimately informed me that they would not be approving any loan. When I decided to walk away and asked for my money back (I returned their $100K check, which I had never deposited elsewhere), they had the audacity to charge me $500 just to withdraw my own funds. In other words: they took $100K of my money, used it for two months, refused me the loan they promised, and then charged me $500 on the way out. I do not trust this bank and will never do business with them again.
