No matter what city you're in, you go into a Buffalo Exchange, and you feel like you've been in it before. This is because all of the locations are designed and laid out very much the same. Like all Buffalo Exchange locations, this shop offers the best of the best of vintage clothing, footwear, accessories, and jewelry. Everything they have for sale is chosen from all of the clothing and other items that sellers bring into the shop. From there, only the best of the best is purchased. Meaning, whatever it is that they offer to their customers has been well examined. The people that work in this shop, are all super nice. So, if you need any help, I'm sure that they are more than happy to give it to you. Located on Magazine Street, this business is super easy to find. In terms of parking, they have parking all over the place. You can find parking spots on Magazine Street, or the streets that surround the business. So, that should never be a problem. Overall, if you're looking for that truly unique piece of vintage clothing, this is a great place to find it.

My heart was broken when I found the most beautiful beaded, silk skirt that simply didn't fit. Humbling experience but that's the way it goes sometimes. I hope someone else can take advantage of the deal- very high quality piece. I did however find a couple of cute pieces that I'm excited to wear. So stay tuned for outfit pics.

This is the cutest shop on Magazine Street! So many great gifts that represent New Orleans…read more I wasn't really in the market for anything, just browsing, but then I found a lovely Magnolia patterned dog collar - perfect for my beagador named MAGNOLIA! Then I found out from the shop attendant that the state flower of Louisiana is the Magnolia! What??? My boyfriend's mom was born & raised in NOLA and loved our dog. She has been gone for a year and half, so finding this out strangely makes me feel connected to her and that she is still around. :*) Anyway, the sweet shop guy asked me to tell him the story of how my dog and I found each other. I recounted the tale of how I found her at PAWS Chicago, where she came from originally (Oklahoma), that she had a brother named "Steel", how she saved me from a life of stress, and then our connection to NOLA. I always appreciate when someone can create a warm and fuzzy moment. So thank you, Shop Guy! The collar is high quality all around - material and construction. I have purchased MANY custom collars for my baby girl and this has been the best so far. It's worth the money because I know it will last for a long time. I will be checking out their website for Christmas gift ideas since we won't be back until next year!

NOLA Couture has developed custom fabrics and ribbons that show off your Gulf Coast pride in a classic preppy style that you can wear to office or church without coming off too wacky. I'll probably be heading back to the online store for more gifts for upcoming birthdays. Fans of LSU, Bama, Tulane, SMU (oddly), Florida and other southern colleges can find some neat things here, too. NOLA Couture even can do custom designs for you (your school, business logo, etc.), and shipping is free for orders over $65. Prices are not cheap (ranging from $10 for a laser etched glass to $95 for a loomed scarf), but the quality of the all the goods appears solid. If you are looking for $10 T-shirts about drinking on Bourbon, this isn't your shop, but then you knew that!

Glad to know this location is here…read more I had the opportunity of visiting the store when I was in Texas and my eyes could not get enough of everything and all in their proper places. It's unbelievable to me that these items are all less than five dollars. Happy happy joy joy this is a place where you can pretty much get anything for the low-low. I plan to frequent this place, especially since I love the incense & fragrance department. So many fragrances to choose from and you can mix and match the incense sticks; 4 for a dollar or something like that, I don't remember but they're pretty darn cheap if you ask me! Self check out is the theme for the day, I don't know that I like that too much but I guess it is the wave of the future and I will stay with the wave; so ring a ling, a ling goes the register... I did not like that the restroom was locked, especially since it was at the BACK of the store and I would've had to go to the FRONT of the store to get someone to unlock the door; what if it was an emergency? WORD TO THE WISE: Be careful when going in, because the items are so cheap, you will go in there for one thing and you come up with 15 others and a bill to match; you've been warned!!! Also tis the season to be jolly: this is a nice place to pick up a few little knickknacks for your kids to fill their Christmas stockings.

That's seriously how you feel when you walk in. The decor of the store honestly makes you want to sit around and talk about the importance of social justice with well-dressed women. Clothing and accessories all strategically place and almost look like artwork. The ACCESSORIES.... So many greatly crafted pieces in the store. Especially their bracelet collection. If you are looking for staple accessory pieces this is definitely the location for you. One of my favorite things is actually a pendant which is a naked lady frolicking. Lots of eclectic pieces you will find as well. There are also some great unique clothing options. Dresses and skirts are very cool and sassy. Extra large shout out to Lauren assistant manager at this store…read more We lost our house and everything inside to the Eaton fire in LA County one week ago. Today is my first day functioning. I need to replace everything. Literally everything. I went online and asked if they had any emergency relief for fire victims. The company doesn't necessarily have something set up, but Lauren told me to pick out the items I needed and she would help as much as she could. Let me tell you something, she really did help a lot. One of the things that keeps me going and helps me hold my head up during this difficult time is when complete strangers can reach out and help you, in your hour of greatest need. Lauren is yet just one more example of somebody who has renewed my faith in humanity.

The store manager, Hussein, knows nothing about customer service, wants to be put on a pedestal by his customers... customer should be grateful for all he does. A patron of a premium product, premium brand, deserves appreciative customer servicing. Don't walk into this store expecting a high-end customer service experience. You will be disappointed.
