I do know that there are other gas stations that offer a similar program but at the time, I couldn't pass up a thirty-five cent discount on gas. Over the past year now, I've been able to average in between four and seven cents with every twenty gallon fill up. That may not seem like much but with the way gas prices were in 2018, I dreaded trying to fill up. I kept my BP card on my person at all times! Just over a month ago, I noticed BP is offering services on their mobile app. As long as I'm able to check-in Yelp, I am also able to log in my gas and continue to get rewarded as well!

My biggest pet peeve is no receipt coming out after it asks you, "Do you want a receipt" and then nothing comes out! I went to the window and told them the tape was out and that I needed a receipt. Both employees were humorous and polite, saying the tape never gets filled at their station. They made me laugh so hard, I forgot about my receipt that never came out. They happily gave me a receipt and I left as a happy customer chuckling and smiling. The only minus was one of the employees were smoking inside the little store and it did not smell pleasant at all, but her friendliness made me excuse that too. Great prices and employees.

To start off, when I walked in, there was already a spilled coffee near the left-side entrance that didn't have a wet floor sign on it; do you know how much of a safety hazard that is? Speaking of coffee, not only were the variations all horrendously overpriced, but two of the coffee bean variations were swapped compared to the actual labels on the dispensers; talk about false advertising! I went to try and get some dessert, but the dispensers for that weren't working either, and the ice within the bags had basically all but melted; you might as well have been selling pure water in a bag at that point. And don't even get me started on the absolutely astronomical gas prices at this location; I mean, seriously? Upwards of $4 a gallon? That's highway robbery......which is what I would say if it was actually affordable to drive on the highway right now, which it's not. On top of that, let me end this off with my restroom experience. Apparently, when I tried to use the restroom, the restroom was closed for cleaning......which would be fine, except that there were no obvious signs or posted labels indicating to me that the restroom was closed, or that there was someone currently even in the process of cleaning it to begin with! Imagine my surprise and shock when I walked in on the custodian in the middle of them cleaning the restroom......and they have the gall to get mad at me for "walking in on them", even though there was no clear sign that the restroom was closed for cleaning! I walked out of this gas station in an exponentially worse state than when I walked into it; at that point, I might as well have just relied on my own red Jerry cans at home, because I'm getting too old for this nonsense. "Gate Petroleum"? More like "Gate Pe-TROLL-eum", because I felt pretty trolled by the time my experience was done. If I could give this a negative rating, I would. But I can't, so I'm just going to settle for a one-star rating out of five. As for how they can probably improve......you could probably think of completely cutting off this location's funding, severing the underground gas lines, or just outright demolishing the establishment entirely and replacing it with something actually useful, like an Internet cafe. It's still really sparkly and new looking and it's really clean. Friendly employees. Clean restrooms also. I feel safe in this area even after dark. Snacks, coffee, cold sandwiches, hot food items, Icees, fountain drinks, lotto tickets, etc. It's all here. They even have one of those large walk-in beer coolers that are becoming so popular.

Its a minor complaint but if you needed gas or any grocery items after 10 or 11 PM, you had a long drive ahead of you. I was just happy they reopened at all, but I've got to say its really nice in here. Shiny, new, and well organized its a nice place to shop. It also really says something to me that most of the employee's are the same ones from before they demolished it. The Gate company must have taken care of them during the move, and it was a good idea, they're pretty friendly and helpful [compared to most gas station employees, for sure].
