But wait, this is a gas station review! Read on. Walmart is in bed with Murphy's. You can see them in front of hundreds of Walmart's. How do you take advantage of this? Double-Dip #1- Assuming you patronize Walmart, buy yourself a membership. It will cost you less than $100 and comes with tons of perks including gas discounts at Murphy's. How do you get the $? You tell the gas pump you are Walmart member by scanning a QRC code or punching in a code available on the Walmart app. See my picture. Double-Dip 2- Walmart is also in bed with Capital One. Get yourself a Walmart credit card. It has no fee. Pay for your gas with this card. So how much can you get Steven B? Depending on the deals going on I get at least 10 cents a gallon and sometimes up to 15! This can really add up over a year to some serous $$! Note, I believe the amounts might vary by state. The gas station itself is top notch. Up-to-date pumps and often the best price intown. The convenience store is spotless. I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!

-They dominate the Florida market!-…read more We're the state with the most Wawa's at over 300 and I, for one, am delighted! This fine location is my closest for now, but they are building a new one in my teeny tiny town as I type this. Arriving- Directly on US Rout 27 North so easy peasy. As with most Wawa's it's very busy so slow down and be careful when you park. While you're there, take advantage of their two free air machines for your tires. They're famous for that! When you park, take notice that many close-in spaces are numbered. Ambience- Boatloads of gas pumps with good prices. Not always the best gas price but close and the great food makes up for it. Inside it is bright and cheery and clean. It's 99% take-out so don't plan on sitting inside. The App- I think it's great and I especially like Curbside Pickup! I like it so much that I rarely go inside anymore! Just park in a clearly numbered spot! Customer Service- I'm usually doing Curbside Pickup so it's just one delivery person. They are almost always on time and often a little ahead of the time specified in the app. I have never had an incorrect order. The delivery person is always friendly so five stars. Food- So, every kind of drink you can imagine, and an amazing choice of sandwiches along with pizza. Today I ordered a Classic Roast beef Sub with extra beef and an Iced Coffee which set me back at about $14. The choices available for your sub are more than in most places. I love that they have sweet peppers! It was cheerfully brought out to my car in about 12 minutes. It's delivered in a nice, reusable bag. As you can see from my pic this was a solid sub. The meat was plentiful and tender, and the toppings were very fresh. As usual, it was excellent! Conclusion- These guys are the top of the heap when it comes to convenience/gas chains. Five stars from me!

The gas price will not be the absolute lowest in the area, but it will be close. 2. They have updated pumps with all the latest bells & whistles. 3. The store is clean and well stocked. 4. They have two EV charging stations with easy access. If Chevron is a preferred brand for you, I suspect you will give them four stars!

I have many good things to say about this property and one bad thing that ruins it all!…read more The good- * If you are on Route 27 North it's easy in and out. * The pumps are high-tech fantastic with color screens. They have figured out how to deal with the frustrating Florida sun glare issues. * The attached store is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has a very good variety. * If you are paying cash this is a great place to stop. The bad- * I was charged $.10 / Gallon extra for using my credit card! My 17 gallon fill-up cost me an extra $1.70 and that is outrageous! There are half a dozen stations just down the street that don't do that. Enough said!

They have just a few pumps and they seem to stay pretty busy. So you may have to wait a minute or two to get one. Not a big deal. Getting around them and to the other side of the parking lot may be a trick. It's tight and not much room. Inside the store - the staff was friendly but also worked at keeping the line down. They wanted to get people in and out so no idle chitchat. That doesn't bother me at all. I too am there for a purpose. Is it clean? Well not overly dirty or overly clean honestly. It is a very fast paced convenience store. I'm sure they clean when they have time. But when you look at the location (right next to downtown Tampa) and how busy they constantly are, you should not expect 5 stars. That's just reality. Would I stop here again? Maybe. If I needed to and landed right in the same location again.

Location- On Route 27 North but not at an intersection. Pain in the ass if you are going the other way! Facility- Not the cleanest. A small, crowded store. Also crowded pumps. A little old style, one-bay car wash. Overall, underwhelming! Service- Very pleasant people. A bright spot here. Prices- Some of the best in town but not enough savings compared to the convenience of the newer style stations. I'll give them two stars but that's the best I can do!

They have the corner of the busiest intersection within quite a few miles. On the surface they seem to check all the boxes. They have gas, the store, propane, U-Haul rentals and lottery. Unfortunately, they seem to have let their prime location go to their head a little bit. The gas prices are OK, but you can usually do better a minute or two down the road. The pumps are also OK but a little dated. The store is definitely dated and a little dim but decently stocked. Those hot dogs on rollers scare me because I don't know how many miles they've rolled! Once you leave the pumps, parking is tough if you want to patronize the store. The parking lot in general looks beat up. If you're from out-of-town you stop in because you really don't know that better locations a minute or two away. If you are a local, like me, you go to much nicer competitors!
