Cisco Construction, just finished a remodel project for our recently purchased condominium. I just cannot say enough good things about them. The project was almost a complete remodel. It included three bathrooms, a new kitchen, all new flooring and paint throughout the unit.  They were able to finish the project in budget and on time (even though we significantly increased the scope by adding in the kitchen remodel). It looks amazing! tl;dr = THESE ARE THE PROFESSIONALS YOU WANT IN CHARGE OF THE JOB! HIRE THEM! Yaniv is honest, reliable, responsive and committed to finishing the project correctly. The people he hired all showed up on time, wore masks and distanced, did the job correctly and professionally, and were good respectable people. We stayed on budget, on schedule and on scope to completion. We bought a house that needed work, and the kitchen needed help, bad. New to the area and home remodeling I found Yaniv through Yelp and other local reviews. Yaniv came out for an estimate and was the first person to give me a detailed quote highlighting all the work and cost involved from start to finish. As someone who deals in project management, this is the sort of professionalism and transparency I appreciated seeing - I could track the work and payments the entire way. The project kicked off with a contract, payment schedule and followed up with a purchase list for me to acquire, broken down into delivery timing to match with the work schedule! Once I had sent over measurements for the appliances we wanted, we got the measurements for the kitchen plans and everything fell right into place from there. The only adjustments made were to deal with some unexpected plumbing and electrical needs that were all presented with options, recommendations and budgeted out. Once approved (all of the recommendations were made based off of what would be BEST FOR THE KITCHEN, nothing else) the work was agreed upon and completed on time and on budget. I was very pleased to see all the teams come in and work efficiently, which can only be done when the team managing everyone (CISCO) has great scheduling and great communication with their team. Everyone knew what they needed to get done and finished on time. Nobody was dragging their feet on the project, and nobody was trying to make things more complicated or expensive than planned. I also didn't need to get involved, which was even better since I was working from home and had a family all doing distanced-learning with COVID19 disrupting so much of everything except this remodel! CISCO and all the specialists who came to do their job were fantastic. We got all of our work done on scope and on budget. All of our permits were filed and all inspections were completed and approved on the first pass. The schedule was very well managed so there was no real downtime. The support and clarification on what needed to be purchased and when really made the job easy for me to get everything ready for the next step - and anything that I had no understanding of Yaniv was there to explain. Lastly, the finish of the kitchen is very well done. The countertops look great and have wonderful transition in the veins. The cabinets look great and function great with handles that match with the color scheme my wife was looking for. The old side door and windows were removed and redone with new french doors and window, and all the structural work to get that done was executed on well - interior and exterior look like it was like that the entire time. Electrical work was clean, organized, to code and well thought out. The plumbing hiding in the old soffit was moved up to get a clean ceiling across the top. Gas piping for the oven and water piping for the fridge was all done with minimal disruption to everything else. All of the needs we spoke with Yaniv early on were delivered on at completion: clean look, bright and positive use of full space space, island for all of us to sit at, enough space between counters for everyone to cook or move around, functional flow to kitchen layout, plenty of storage to reduce countertop clutter. Schedule, budget and scope were all honored and we now have a kitchen we enjoy using. We can't wait till we can have people over to the house again to share food and fun times with our friends. Yaniv is an honest and efficient contractor. Before we started work on two bathroom remodels, we agreed on a detailed contract and went through it line by line. Although we were forewarned by our family to expect approximately 10% cost overrun, Yaniv adhered to our contract term and price. There was only one small change to the contract because Yaniv had to procure for us the quartz in a size that we could not obtain on our own. His workers showed up as scheduled and respected properties of our neighbors. The workers removed debris from the construction quickly so we don't have a dumpster sitting out on the driveway for a long time. They taped up our wood floors and hung plastic sheets from the ceiling to minimize debris for the non--construction area. The city inspection was scheduled on time and with no issue. We would definitely recommend Cisco Construction to anyone who is considering work done to their properties. read more

September 15, 2021 I contacted Cisco Construction in January 2021. I had a pipe burst in my home over New Year's weekend. I was distraught. I contacted my insurance company who recommended that I find a contractor to do the repairs which were extensive. I met with over 6 different contractors who all had their own ideas of what had to be done. After reviewing each estimate carefully, I decided to hire Yaniv Levi, the owner of Cisco construction. I could not have made a better choice. From the day I met him, Yaniv was professional and detail oriented. He immediately created a computerized rendering and gave me a design idea for the kitchen. Because I had the same wood flooring throughout the house, it all had to be removed because of water damage. This resulted in the need to completely re-do all the rooms in the house. Drywall had to be removed and replaced. The entire home needed to be repainted. All the appliances and cabinets had to be removed because of water damage to the floor and walls. All the fixtures were removed in the master bedroom, hallway, guest bath. All the furnishings in the home were temporarily stored and I moved into a hotel so that the work could be done. Yaniv carefully created a plan that was detailed and organized. From the time the work was done until the day it was finished, the work progressed in a timely and well-planned fashion. When my appliances were delayed, Yaniv was able to adjust his schedule accordingly. His workmen were professional, polite, wore masks and worked in a timely fashion as well. Yaniv and I worked closely. He took a personal interest in getting me back into my home as soon as possible since he was aware of how this disaster had disrupted my life. He was very sensitive to my situation and treated me with respect and kindness. He was very accommodating. There were several situations where changes had to be made and added to the project. He promptly figured out what needed to be done and documented the changes in writing. His accounting was very organized and timely. Yaniv helped me make decisions along the way. Many items had to be purchased. He went with me to choose all kitchen and bathroom fixtures. He helped me pick out flooring. He recommended an excellent kitchen cabinet company and helped me pick out countertop materials and fixtures as well. He made sure everything was installed carefully and properly and always cleaned up afterwards. I was able to be able to move back into my home within 6 months. The home I returned to was more than I could have wished for. I am thrilled with the results. It seemed as if the entire home had been remodeled and I was moving into a new home that had all the personal touches I wanted. I wholeheartedly recommend Yaniv and his crew. Even after I moved back in, Yaniv was able to make himself available to take care of little details. He arranged for the cupboard company to come back and adjust some drawers. He had the electrician come back when my microwave suddenly stopped. Some accessories for my oven range have not yet shipped and he is willing to come and install them when they arrive. I found Yaniv and Cisco through our friends who recommended him after he remodeled their master bathroom. Yaniv came to our home to look at the master bathroom and also did the 3D design at no charge, for my very old master bathroom. What's old you're asking? More than 40 years old... He simply took the old layout and gave some great ideas of how to create a new functional bathroom for my husband and I. Yaniv was able to do this with removing the existing cracked shower pan I had and enlarging it and dividing the master bath from the master bedroom by creating a new wall. After finalizing the new layout of my future master bathroom I met Yaniv again after a few days and he came up with a very detailed scope of work for us of exactly what was going to happen during the project and what items I need to provide for the project, he called it "purchase list of finished materials". Simply to put it he didn't miss even a tiny detail of it and was very organized. I was very impressed by that! Yaniv stated the job duration will not be more than 4 weeks and it was even quicker and it was completed after 3.5 weeks. Yaniv really helped us keep some existing items to create a better design of what was already there so we would have our dream bathroom. I contacted Cisco Construction through a colleague of mine after they renovated his house. I'm so glad I took the advice of Hiring them to completely remodel one of my homes. The project included kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms to renovate, new recessed lights throughout house, new interior & entry doors installation, replacing all windows, new hardwood flooring around the house (tiles on kitchen and bathrooms floor) and completely painting the interior of the house, doors and all moldings. They were very thorough and showed a lot of knowledge from our first meeting to our other 2 meetings prior signing the contract. I interviewed 3 more contractors for my project and none of them got close to what cisco represents and even though they weren't the cheapest out of the 4 contractors, I decided to go with them. I decided to refresh my old kitchen completely with new cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc. Cisco did a great job on my kitchen, didn't miss anything and the final result came out beautiful. The kitchen now is more spacious after they changed the layout (so now I have my dream island..) and relocated my plumbing and electrical. The project was a kitchen remodel. We needed to enlarge and change our 10' x 10' kitchen with ugly 70s décor. Our only option was to remove the wall separating the dining room and replace it with a wide counter that extended into the dining room floor plan. An existing window would have to be replaced with a smaller one. Yaniv, the owner/project manager did some hand holding with us as Cisco produced a software-generated plan of our proposed changes which was of immeasurable value in providing a visualization of the project. The original bid was $53,500. With the change orders to come, the total was $68,000. The project was L. A. City inspected. A schedule of the work and payments respectively were agreed on and demolition commenced. The job started on June 1 and some final details were attended to on August 23. The porta-potty was picked up on Aug. 24. The scope of the job changed over the first weeks. Several change orders were added to which the company easily adapted. Immediately it was discovered that the wall that we wanted to remove was load bearing and the appropriate work was arranged. An old sub panel that controlled the kitchen was upgraded. We added under-cabinet lighting and extended the porcelain tile floor 300' more sq ft. than was originally planned. An extra room was painted. We had to buy a window and in the covid commercial environment where many products were either hard to get or unavailable, its delivery interfered with the schedule. Cisco adapted and switched focus to flooring, staying on schedule. I communicated a lot with Yaniv, texting him frequently with questions about what was happening that day and when. He quickly fell into a rhythm and began letting me know unprompted. Tradespeople came and went and most were very friendly and communicative if engaged. A couple guys showed up without masks or not taking masks seriously and there were a few confrontations about whether individuals had been vaccinated. In one instance, a guy admitted he hadn't but immediately got his mask. We could see that the work was being done very well. We obtained our countertop, floor tile and backsplash from nearby United Tile. Though not obligated, Cisco provided complimentary transportation for the floor tile. After about 7 weeks we had a painted, tiled, plumbed, electrified, cabineted and countertopped kitchen. Yaniv was suddenly called out of the country on an emergency. Without his guidance, the last few tasks of the job lost the previous momentum. When Yaniv returned in August, the pace resumed and the job concluded. We were ok absorbing this unusual circumstance. I felt a good trust with Yaniv and it was never difficult to deal with him. Price wise, I was happy to pay for the baked-in expertise of this company. All in all it was a really good experience and we are thrilled with the results. A definite recommendation. read more

I would highly recommend the company Cisco Construction, I met with Yaniv to get an estimate on a new fence and also painting the exterior of our home. After our meeting I knew Yaniv was the person to do the job. He knew exactly what I wanted for the fence and even made better suggestions on height and style. He was informative and I am so glad I trusted him and his opinions. The fence turned out to be the perfect height to give us some privacy and the style was exactly what I was looking for. Yaniv was patient with me while picking out the paint color for the exterior paint. One of them was Yaniv, who didn't come with the best price amongst them, but I decided to continue with him since he was the only one who specializes with everything I needed together. I was looking for a contractor on yelp and I came across Cisco Construction. After meeting with a handful of contractors which were referred to me, I met with Yaniv to discuss converting our garage to an ADU. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and knowing he has done this before put us at ease and he even had pictures to show us of his previous work on his tablet. We felt so comfortable with Yaniv and wanted him to do the job. They started the project and kept me informed of every process and step we were about to take. He was patient with me while choosing the fixtures, paint colors, cabinet colors, and tile. He gave me his expert opinion however always listened to what my vision was. He gave me an estimate of how long this work would take and surpassed my expectations by finishing on time when he said he would finish. First thing I can say about Cisco Construction is that they are a true one stop shop for offering different trades. To be honest they saved my wife and I . Were both working full time and trying to deal with our new home and all the headaches that go with it. With Cisco we had the piece of mind that they were handling all the projects in our home from renovating our kitchen, bedrooms , new hard wood floors, fresh interior paint and lets not forget to mention scraping the old acoustic ceilings!
